Also premiering in the U.S. on Thursday is the British mini-series Showtrial created by Ben Richards and starring Tracy Ifeachor, Celine Buckens, Sharon D. Clarke, Sinead Keenan, Lolita Chakrabarti and Kerr Logan. Samuel Sim (The Dark Crystal: Age of ResistanceThe Spanish PrincessDomina, The Halcyon) has composed the show’s original music. Dubois Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last fall when the drama premiered in the UK on BBC One. Premiering on Friday, July 22, is the coming-of-age comedy drama Anything’s Possible directed by Billy Porter and starring Eva Reign, Abubakr Ali and Renée Elise Goldsberry. The film’s original score is composed by Leo Birenberg (Cobra Kai, Son of Zorn, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous). Porter & Justin Tranter serve as the project’s executive music producers. Republic Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the movie by artists such as Kim Petras, Em Beihold, Porter himself, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Kiana Ledé, DNCE & others.
