Parlophone Records has announced the official soundtrack album for the documentary Moonage Daydream. The album features unheard versions of songs by the film’s subject, David Bowie, as well as live tracks & mixes created exclusively for the movie. The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 16 and physically on November 18, 2022. A 3LP edition is set to come out in 2023. Visit Amazon to pre-order the 2-CD version. Craft Recordings has released a new soundtrack album for the 1966 animated special It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. The album features the original session reels of the television special’s music composed by Vince Guaraldi (A Charlie Brown Christmas, A Boy Named Charlie Brown). Previously thought to be lost to time, the new release includes the musical cues as recorded by Vince and crew before they were edited for the special, in show order, as well as a selection of alternate takes. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Pictures and Legendary Pictures announced today that Tom Holkenborg (aka Junkie XL) (Mad Max: Fury Road, Zack Snyder’s Justice League, Deadpool, Sonic the Hedgehog, Alita: Battle Angel) is returning to score the upcoming (currently untitled) Godzilla vs. Kong sequel. The film will be directed by Adam Wingard (You’re Next, The Guest) and stars Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry and Kaylee Hottle who reprise their roles from the first movie.
