Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the supernatural horror movie Smile written and directed by Parker Finn and starring Sosie Bacon, Jessie T. Usher, Kyle Gallner, Caitlin Stasey, Robert Weigert, Kal Penn and Rob Morgan. The film’s original music composed by Cristobal Tapia de Veer (The White Lotus, Utopia, The Girl with All the Gifts, The Third Day, National Treasure). Also opening wide is the romantic comedy Bros co-written and directed by Nicholas Stoller and starring Billy Eichner, Luke Macfarlane, Guy Branum, Miss Lawrence, Dot-Marie Jones, Ts Madison, Eve Lindley, Jim Rash, Guillermo Díaz and Amanda Bearse. Marc Shaiman (A Few Good Men, Hairspray, Mary Poppins Returns, When Harry Met Sally..., Misery, Sleepless in Seattle) has composed the film’s original score. Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as an original song co-written by himself and Eichner.
