Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the musical comedy Mean Girls directed by Samantha Jayne & Arturo Perez Jr. and starring Angourie Rice, Auli’i Cravalho, Reneé Rapp, Avantika, Jaquel Spivey, Jenna Fischer, Bebe Wood. Christopher Briney, Busy Philipps, Tim Meadows and Tina Fey. The film’s original score is composed by Jeff Richmond (30 Rock, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Baby Mama, Girls5eva). Interscope Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the movie written by Richmond & Nell Benjamin today. Also opening wide is the biblical comedy drama The Book of Clarence directed by Jeymes Samuel (The Harder They Fall) and starring LaKeith Stanfield, Anna Diop, Omar Sy, David Oyelowo, Micheal Ward, RJ Cyler, Teyana Taylor, James McAvoy, Alfre Woodard, Marianne Jean-Baptiste and Benedict Cumberbatch. Jeymes has also composed the film’s original music. Roc Nation Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the movie and Milan Records has released a separate album featuring Samuel’s score today. Soundtrack Album for Sofia Exarchou’s ‘Animal’ Released

Plaza Mayor Company has released a soundtrack album for the drama Animal. The album features the film’s original music composed by Wolfgang Frisch (Silentium, Der Knochenmann, Cops). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Check out the composer’s prologue/opening titles track below. Animal is written and directed by Sofia Exarchou and stars Dimitra Vlagopoulou, Flomaria Papadaki, Ahilleas Hariskos and Voodoo Jürgens. The show is created by David Benioff (25th Hour, The Kite Runner), D.B. Weiss (The Chair), Alexander Woo (True Blood, The Terror) based on Liu Cixin’s bestselling book trilogy and stars Jess Hong, Liam Cunningham, Eiza González, Jovan Adepo, Benedict Wong, Jonathan Pryce, Alex Sharp, Rosalind Chao and John Bradley. ‘Gravity Falls’ Digital Soundtrack Album Released

Walt Disney Records has released a digital version of the soundtrack album for the Disney Channel animated series Gravity Falls. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Brad Breeck (We Bare Bears, Voltron: Legendary Defender, The Owl House, Kiff), as well as numerous songs from both seasons of the Disney Television Animation production. Full Version of Original Song ‘Meet in the Middle’ from ‘Flora and Son’ Released

Lakeshore Records has released the full version of the Academy Award-shortlisted original song Meet in the Middle from the musical comedy drama Flora and Son. The track co-written (with Gary Clark, John Carney & Robert John Ardiff) and performed by lead actors Eve Hewson & Joseph Gordon-Levitt is now available as a digital single, which also includes a previously unreleased score track (Hug Through Park by Clark), on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Hollywood Records & Marvel Music have released the full soundtrack album for Marvel Studios’ Disney+ limited series Echo. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Dave Porter (Breaking Bad, The Disaster Artist, Better Call Saul, Preacher, The Blacklist, Hightown, Term Life). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Echo is created by Marion Dayre based on the Marvel Comics character and stars Alaqua Cox, Chaske Spencer, Graham Greene, Vincent D’Onofrio, Tantoo Cardinal, Devery Jacobs, Zahn McClarno  and Cody Lightning. The 5-parter follows the title character (aka Maya Lopez) as she is pursued by Wilson Fisk’s criminal empire and  must confront her own family and legacy when the journey brings her home. The album features the show’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Alberto Iglesias (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, The Constant Gardener, Volver, The Kite Runner, Parallel Mothers,  The Skin I Live In).
