Premiering on Tuesday, April 30, is the FX limited series The Veil created by Steven Knight and starring Elisabeth Moss, Yumna Marwan, Josh Charles and Dali Benssalah. The show’s original music is composed by Max Richter (The Leftovers, Ad Astra, Mary Queen of Scots, Hostiles, Waltz with Bashir, Spaceman) and Jon Opstad (Bodies, Black Mirror: White Bear & White Christmas, The Woman in White, We Hunt Together) . Hollywood Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ music on May 3. Premiering on Wednesday, May 1, is the British Disney+/Hulu original series Shardlake developed by Stephen Butchard based on C.J. Sansom’s novels and starring Arthur Hughes, Anthony Boyle,Sean Bean, Ruby Ashbourne Serkis, Babou Ceesay, Paul Kaye, Brian Vernel, Matthew Steer, Peter Firth, Miles Barrow and David Pearse. Alex Heffes (The Last King of Scotland, The Regime, Queen of Katwe, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, State of Play, Touching the Void) has composed the show’s original music. Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past Friday.
