Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the action comedy Bad Boys: Ride or Die directed by Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah and starring Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, Alexander Ludwig, Eric Dane, Vanessa Hudgens, Ioan Gruffudd and Joe Pantoliano.  The film’s original score is composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Bad Boys for Life, His Dark Materials, Black Widow, Top Gun: Maverick, Black Adam, The Wheel of Time, The LEGO Batman Movie). Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music today and Epic Records has released a separate album featuring the songs from the movie by Black Eyed Peas, El Alfa, Becky G, J.I.D, 21 Lil Harold, ScarLip & others. Also opening wide is the supernatural horror thriller The Watchers written and directed by Ishana Night Shyamalan and starring Dakota Fanning, Georgina Campbell, Olwen Fouere and Oliver Finnegan. Abel Korzeniowski (A Single Man, Penny Dreadful, Nocturnal Animals, The Nun, Till, W.E., Emily, The Courier, Romeo and Juliet). has composed the film’s original music. Genie Music Corporation has released a soundtrack album for the South Korean Netflix limited series Hierarchy. The album features ten songs from the show by artists such as COCONA, Kum Junhyeon, Xydo, Dasutt , Jimmy Brown, Jeje & others. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Also listen to several tracks below. John Debney (The Passion of the Christ, The Jungle Book, Elf, Iron Man 2, Hocus Pocus, The Emperor’s New Groove) is composing the original score for the upcoming Netflix original animated film In Your Dreams. The movie is directed by Alex Woo (Go! Go! Cory Carson), co-directed by Erik Benson (The Good Dinosaur) and features the voices of Simu Liu and Craig Robinson. The animated comedy tells the story of two siblings who journey into the absurd landscape of their own dreams as they try to make their ultimate dream of a perfect family come true. Alicia Creti’s Original Song ‘No Better’ from Netflix’s ‘Ultraman: Rising’ Released

Atlantic Records has released the original end credits song No Better from the Netflix animated film Ultraman: Rising. The track is co-written (with the movie’s composer Scot Stafford, Spencer Stewart & Trey Campbell) and performed by Alicia Creti and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. ‘Gandhi’ Digital Soundtrack Album Released

Sony Classical has released a digital version of the soundtrack album for the Academy Award-winning 1982 epic Gandhi directed by Richard Attenborough and starring Ben Kingsley, Candice Bergen, Edward Fox, John Gielgud, John Mills, Trevor Howard and Martin Sheen. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ravi Shankar (Apu Trilogy, Charyly) and George Fenton (Dangerous Liaisons, The Blue Planet, Anna and the King, Groundhog Day, Hitch, Ever After) who received their first Academy Award nomination for their score. Lionsgate Records has released a soundtrack album for Onyx Collective’s Hulu original series Queenie. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by British music producer Swindle. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to Swindle’s title track below. Queenie is created by Candice Carty-Williams based on her own best-selling novel and stars Dionne Brown, Bellah and Samuel Adewunmi. Netflix announced today that Mahuia Bridgman-Cooper (Shadow in the Cloud, The Legend of Baron To’a, Housebound) has been tapped to score the upcoming animated feature Plankton: The Movie. The film is directed by Dave Needham (The Loud House Movie) and features the voices of Mr. Lawrence, Jill Talley, Tom Kenny, Carolyn Lawrence, Bill Fagerbakke, Clancy Brown and Rodger Bumpass. Bret McKenzie (Flight of the Conchords, The Muppets), Linda Perry (of 4 Non Blondes) and Mark Mothersbaugh (Thor: Ragnarok, The LEGO Movie) & Bob Mothersbaugh (Rugrats, 200 Cigarettes) are writing original songs for the movie, which is based on the series SpongeBob SquarePants characters created by Stephen Hillenburg and follows Plankton whose world is flipped upside down when his plan for world domination is thwarted. Void Recordings will release a soundtrack album for the horror thriller Trim Season. The album features the film’s original music composed by Joseph Bishara (Insidious, The Conjuring, Annabelle, Malignant, The Unholy, Tarot, The Curse of La Llorona). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 7 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Trim Season is co-written and directed by Ariel Vida and stars Jane Badler, Bex Taylor-Klaus, Alex Essoe, Ally Ioannides, Bethlehem Million and Cory Hart. The movie follows a small crew of trimmers working on a remote marijuana farm who are completely cut off from the outside world as they discover the stalks there have disturbingly deep roots in ancient blood-soaked traditions.
