Sony Classical will release the official soundtrack album for the superhero movie Kraven the Hunter. The album features the film’s original music composed by Benjamin Wallfisch (It, Alien: Romulus, Hidden Figures, Twisters, The Flash, Shazam!) and Evgueni Galperine & Sacha Galperine (Baby Reindeer, The Undoing, Scenes from a Marriage, Loveless, Radioactive, Wizard of Lies). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, December 13 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the first two tracks below. Kraven the Hunter is directed by J.C. Chandor and stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ariana DeBose, Fred Hechinger, Christopher Abbott, Alessandro Nivola and Russell Crowe. The Marvel Entertainment production follows the title character whose complex relationship with his ruthless gangster father starts him down a path of vengeance with brutal consequences.

Benjamin Wallfisch (It, Blade Runner 2049, Shazam!, Hidden Figures, The Invisible Man) has recently been scoring the upcoming action adventure Kraven the Hunter. The film is directed by J.C. Chandor (Margin Call, All Is Lost) and stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ariana DeBose, Alessandro Nivola, Christopher Abbott, Fred Hechinger and Russell Crowe. The movie tells the story about how and why the title character came to be, before his notorious vendetta with Spider-Man. Art Marcum & Matt Holloway (Iron Man, Uncharted) and Richard Wenk (The Equalizer, The Magnificent Seven) wrote the screenplay based on the Marvel Comics.
‘Triple Frontier’ Soundtrack Details
Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original movie Triple Frontier. The album features the film’s original music composed by Disasterpeace (aka Rich Vreeland) (It Follows, Under the Silver Lake). Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich performed on the composer’s score. The album features music from and inspired by the film composed by Alex Ebert of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros who previously scored the director’s last feature All is Lost, including the avant garde original song America for Me. The soundtrack will be released on December 16, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio clips. A Most Violent Year is written and directed by Chandor and stars Oscar Isaac, Jessica Chastain, Alessandro Nivola, David Oyelowo and Albert Brooks. Alex Ebert to Score J.C. Chandor’s ‘A Most Violent Year’
Alex Ebert is reuniting with director J.C. Chandor to score the upcoming crime drama A Most Violent Year. The film stars Oscar Isaac, Jessica Chastain, Alessandro Nivola, David Oyelowo and Albert Brooks. The movie is set in New York City during the winter of 1981 and follows the lives of an immigrant family trying to expand their business and capitalize on opportunities amid violence, decay and corruption. Chandor (Margin Call) has also written the screenplay and is producing the project with Neal Dodson and Anna Gerb. Ebert who is best known as the lead vocalist of the band Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros has previously collaborated with Chandor on last year’s All Is Lost starting Robert Redford and went on to receive a Golden Globe for his score.

Alex Ebert has been hired to score the upcoming adventure drama All is Lost. The film is written and directed by J.C. Chandor and stars Robert Redford as a man who gets lost at sea and struggles against the elements to stay alive. Neal Dodson & Anna Gerb (Margin Call), Justin Nappi (Arbitrage) and Teddy Schwarzman (At Any Price) are producing the Before The Door Pictures and Washington Square Films production. The movie marks Chandor’s second film following last year’s critically acclaimed Margin Call, which featured a score by Nathan Larson. Ebert is best known as the lead singer and songwriter for L.A. indie rock band Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. The project marks his film scoring debut. All is Lost is currently in post-production and is expected to be released next year by Lionsgate. (Variety)
