Mutant has announced a new soundtrack album for the sci-fi adventure Project Hail Mary directed by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller and starring Ryan Gosling, Sandra Hüller, James Ortiz, Lionel Boyce, Milana Vayntrub and Ken Leung. The album is being released as a 3-CD set and features the film’s expanded original score composed by Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into/Across the Spider-VerseThe Bad Guys, Masters of the Universe, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Enola HolmesSteve Jobs, The Drama, MaterialistsKing Arthur: Legend of the SwordBirds of Prey), including material not available in any other format, on the first two discs, as well as the songs from the movie on the third disc. The album features the film’s original music written by pianist/composer Koki Nakano who has made his feature scoring debut on the project. The film is directed by Agnieszka Smoczyńska (The Lure) and stars Andrzej Konopka, Noomi Rapace and Reika Kirishima. The movie is set in a near future society ruled by sentient A.I. and follows a private eye who investigates a murder case only to discover a rebel group capable of undermining the digital overlord.
