Premiering on Wednesday, July 24, is the Apple TV+ original series Time Bandits created by Jemaine Clement, Iain Morris & Taika Waititi based on the 1981 movie of the same title and starring Lisa Kudrow, Kal-El Tuck, Tadhg Murphy, Roger Jean Nsengiyumva, Rune Temte, Kiera Thompson, Rachel House, Charlyne Yi, James Dryden, Felicity Ward, Francesca Mills and Imaan Hadchiti. The show’s original music is composed by Mark Mothersbaugh (Thor: Ragnarok, The Royal Tenenbaums, , The LEGO Movie, 21/22 Jump Street, The Croods: A New Age, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs). Also premiering on Wednesday is the HBO original documentary series Charlie Hustle & The Matter of Pete Rose directed and executive produced by Mark Monroe about the life and career of Major League Baseball (MLB) legend Pete Rose and his bid to be reinstated . David Schwartz (Arrested Development, The Good Place, Lucy and Desi, Northern Exposure, Veep, Lady Dynamite) has composed the show. The 4-parter, which focuses on the events when Rose was handed a lifetime ban from the sport of baseball after an investigation revealed that he had bet on games during his tenure as the manager of the Cincinnati Reds, will air on HBO and will also be available to stream on Max.
