RCA Records has released the album Bando Stone & the New World, which serves as the soundtrack album for the upcoming sci-fi film of the same title. The record includes seventeen new songs by Donald Glover as Childish Gambino, including collaborations with Jorja Smith, Yeat, Amaarae, Flo Milli, Chlöe, Fousheé and Khruangbin. Academy Award-winning composer Ludwig Göransson (Oppenheimer, Black Panther, Creed, Community, The Mandalorian) co-wrote and produced several tracks on the album. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the first three songs after the jump. Bando Stone & the New World is directed by Glover and stars the musician/actor himself, as well as Jessica Allain and Legend.

David Fleming Scoring Donald Glover’s ‘Bando Stone & The New World’
David Fleming (The Last of Us, Damsel, Blue Planet II, Hillbilly Elegy, The Unforgivable, The Night Logan Woke Up, Jim Henson Idea Man) is scoring the upcoming sci-fi feature Bando Stone & The New World. The film is directed by Donald Glover (Atlanta) and stars Glover himself, Jessica Allain and Legend. No plot details have been announced yet for the movie, which will accompanied by a new album/soundtrack from Glover as Childish Gambino. Evi Wilder wrote the screenplay.
Soundtrack EP for Amazon’s ‘Swarm’ Released
RCA Records has released a soundtrack EP for the new Amazon original series Swarm. The 6-track EP features the songs from the show produced by series co-creator Donald Glover (aka Childish Gambino) & score composer Michael Uzowuru and performed by the fictional pop star Ni’Jah (voiced by KIRBY). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to all six tracks below. Swarm is created by Janine Nabers & Glover and stars Dominique Fishback, Chloë Bailey and Damson Idris. The 7-part horror thriller is set between 2016-2018 and follows an obsessed fan of the world’s biggest pop star who sets off on an unexpected cross-country journey.
FX’s ‘Atlanta’ to Feature Music by Ludwig Goransson
Ludwig Goransson is set to compose the original music for the upcoming FX original series Atlanta. The show is created by Donald Glover who also stars in the show alongside Brian Tyree Henry, LaKeith Lee Stanfield, Zazie Beetz and Bret E. Benson. The comedy revolves around two cousins on their way up through the Atlanta rap scene whose opposing views on art versus commerce, success and race will make their quest anything but easy. Glover is also executive producing the project with Paul Simms (Girls, Divorce) for FX Prods. and Dianne McGunigle for MGMT Entertainment.
‘Rocky’ Spinoff ‘Creed’ to Feature Original Songs by Ludwig Goransson, Ryan Coogler, Vince Staples, Donald Glover & More
Warner Bros. Pictures is submitting two original songs from the upcoming sports drama Creed for Oscar consideration. The first track, Waiting for My Moment, is written by the film’s composer Ludwig Goransson (Community, Fruitvale Station, New Girl, We’re the Millers), the movie’s director Ryan Coogler, rapper Vince Staples, and Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino. The second song, Grip, is written by Goransson, hip hop singer/songwriter Sam Dew and Tessa Thompson who also stars in the film.
