Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the Netflix original documentary Unknown: Cave of Bones. The album features the film’s original music composed by Francesco Le Metre (Disclosure, Split Screen). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Unknown: Cave of Bones is directed by Mark Mannucci and follows paleoanthropologist Lee Berger who has found the world’s oldest graveyard in South Africa’s Cradle of Humankind and tries to prove that this ancient, ape-like, small brained creature practiced complex burial rituals. Sony Music has released the theme song from Hayao Miyazaki’s animated feature The Boy and the Heron. The track, entitled Spinning Globe, is written and performed by J-pop star Kenshi Yonezu and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Also listen to the song after the jump. A full soundtrack album featuring Joe Hisaishi’s original score from the movie will be announced soon. The album features the film’s original music composed by Amine Bouhafa (Timbuktu, Four Daughters, Beauty and the Dogs, Gagarine, The Summit of the Gods, The Man Who Sold His Skin). First Tracks from Paul Saunderson’s ‘Earth’ Score Released

Silva Screen Records has released the first tracks from the soundtrack for the BBC natural history series Earth. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is the One Planet. Many Lives EP featuring five tracks written by the show’s composer Paul Saunderson (Three Identical Strangers, Trying, The More You Ignore Me, The Grand Duke of Corsica). The soundtrack will be released this coming Friday, July 21 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Opening in theaters nationwide this week is the spy/action movie Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One co-written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie and starring Tom Cruise, Hayley Atwell, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby and Henry Czerny. The film’s original score is composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Black Widow, Black Adam, Top Gun: Maverick). Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music earlier this week. CD and vinyl editions will be released by La-La Land Records and Mondo. Opening semi-wide in around 650 U.S. theaters is the Irish comedy drama The Miracle Club directed by Thaddeus O’Sullivan and starring Laura Linney, Kathy Bates, Maggie Smith, Agnes O’Casey and Stephen Rea. Edmund Butt (Life on Mars, Dalíland, Origin, Finding Alice, Bancroft, Mistress) has composed the film’s original music. Dubois Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today.
