Jeremy Sams has reteamed with director Roger Michell on the upcoming comedy drama Le Week-End. The movie starring Jim Broadbent, Lindsay Duncan and Jeff Goldblum follows a long-married couple who visit Paris for the first time since their honeymoon to revitalize their marriage and meet an old friend who gives them a new view of life and love. Hanif Kureishi (Venus, My Beautiful Laundrette) has written the screenplay and Kevin Loader (Captain Corelli’s Mandolin, In the Loop, Nowhere Boy) is producing the project. ‘Caprica’ Soundtrack Details

La-La Land Records will release a soundtrack album for the Syfy original series Caprica. The album features selections from the show’s original score composed by Bear McCreary (The Walking Dead, Battlestar Galactica, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.). Also included are two songs from the series performed by Young Beautiful in a Hurry. The soundtrack will be released as a 2CD-set on July 30, 2013. Caprica is set 58 years before Battlestar Galactica and follows two rival families as they grow, compete, and thrive in the vibrant world of the peaceful 12 Colonies, living in a society close to our own. The sci-fi drama is created by Remi Aubuchon & Ronald D. Rachel Portman is the composer of the upcoming romantic comedy The Right Kind of Wrong. The movie is directed by Jeremiah Chechik (Christmas Vacation, Diabolique, The Avengers) and stars Ryan Kwanten as a struggling writer who meets the girl of his dreams at her own wedding. Catherine O’Hara, Will Sasso and Sara Canning are co-starring. The film is based on the novel Sex and Sunsets by Tim Dandlin and was adapted for the screen by Megan Martin. Robert Lantos (Eastern Promises, Being Julia, Barney’s Version) is producing the Serendipity Point Film production with Ari Lantos. Johnny Jewel revealed in a recent interview with Noisey (via The Playlist) that he is writing music for Ryan Gosling’s upcoming directorial debut How to Catch a Monster. The film stars Christina Hendricks, Saoirse Ronan, Eva Mendes, Iain De Caestecker, Matt Smith and Ben Mendelsohn. The movie is set against the surreal dreamscape of a vanishing city and centered on a single mother of two being swept into a macabre and dark fantasy underworld while her teenage son discovers a secret road leading to an underwater town. Marc Platt (Drive, 2 Guns, Legally Blonde) & Adam Siegel are producing the project for Marc Platt Productions, alongside Michel Litvak & David Lancaster (Bobby, Legion) for Bold Films. The details of the domestic release of the soundtrack for the fantasy adventure sequel Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters have been revealed. The album features an alternate cover art, but the same content of the version to be released overseas including the film’s original score by Andrew Lockington (Journey to the Center of the Earth, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island) and the song I Feel Alive by IAMEVE. Matthew Margeson is currently scoring the upcoming indie thriller The Curse of Downers Grove. The film is directed by Derick Martini (Lymelife, Hick) and stars Bella Heathcote, Lucas Till, Penelope Mitchell, Kevin Zegers, Helen Slater and Tom Arnold. The movie based on a novel by Michael Hornburg is set in Downers Grove, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago and follows a paranoid high school senior who is worried about an apparent curse that takes the life of one student every year at the school. Martini has co-written the screenplay with Bret Easton Ellis (American Psycho, The Rules of Attraction). Oren Segal, Jason Dubin and Chiara Trento are producing the project. Margeson has previously scored the Segal-produced 2010 film Burning Palms. The Curse of Downers Grove is currently in post-production and is expected to be released in 2014. The movie follows three inter-connected love stories of three couples in three cities: Rome, Paris and New York. Intrada Records has announced the world premiere release of the score for Walt Disney Pictures’ 2008 animated feature Tinker Bell. The album featueres the film’s original music composed and conducted by Joel McNeely (Holes, Iron Will, Young Indiana Jones Chronicles). Also included are the film’s songs performed by Lorena McKennitt and Selena Gomez. The soundtrack is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also listen to audio clips. Walt Disney Records has previously released a soundtrack featuring the film’s songs, as well as McNeely’s end credits suite. Tinker Bell is directed by Bradley Raymond and features the voice talent of Mae Whitman, Kristin Chenoweth, Jane Horrocks, Anjelica Huston, Jesse McCartney, and Raven-Symone.
