The film is directed by Michael Radford (1984, The Merchant of Venice) and stars Christopher Plummer, Shirley MacLaine, Marcia Gay Harden, Scott Bakula, Chris Noth, Jared Gilman, James Brolin, George Segal, Wendell Pierce, Reg Rogers and Erika Alexander. The movie is an English-language remake of the Spanish-Argentine film of the same title directed by by Marcos Carnevale and follows a lively retiree in New Orleans who falls in love with a widower who moves into her apartment building. Radford co-wrote the screenplay with Anna Pavignano based on the 2005 film and the director is also producing the project with Ed Saxon (The Silence of the Lambs, Adaptation), Ricardo Kleinbaum, Matthias Ehrenberg (Sex, Shame and Tears) and Argentinean producers Nicolas Veinberg and Jose Levy. The album features the film’s original score composed, arranged, performed and produced by Mike Mogis and Nathaniel Walcott (from Bright Eyes). longmireWaterTower Music will release a soundtrack album for A&E’s crime drama series Longmire. The album features selections from the score of the show’s first season composed by David Shephard. The soundtrack will be released on May 28, 2013. Audio clips will be added to this article within the next week. Longmire created by John Coveny and Hunt Baldwin is based on Craig Johnson’s Walt Longmire series of mystery novels and stars Robert Taylor, Katee Sackhoff, Bailey Chase, Adam Bartley, Cassidy Freeman and Lou Diamond Phillips. The show’s complete first season will be released on DVD on May 28 (click here to pre-order the DVD set) and the second season is set to premiere on May 27 and will air every Monday night on A&E. The film is directed by Guillaume Canet and stars Clive Owen, Billy Crudup, Marion Cotillard, Mila Kunis, Zoe Saldana, Matthias Schoenaerts, James Caan, Noah Emmerich, Lili Taylor, Domenick Lombardozzi, John Ventimiglia and Griffin Dunne. The movie marks the French director’s English language debut and follows two brothers, on either side of the law, who face off over organized crime in Brooklyn during the 1970s. Canet co-wrote the screenplay with James Gray (We Own the Night, Two Lovers) and is also producing the project with Alain Attal & Hugo Selignac (Tell No One), Christopher Woodrow (The Immigrant) and John Lesher (End of Watch). Miller, Kat Foster and Melissa Tang. The show’s original score is composed by John Swihart (Napoleon Dynamite, New in Town) who is also the creator’s long running hit sitcom How I Met Your Mother. The Goodwin Games will air every Monday night on Fox. The series follows three grown siblings who return home after their father’s death, and unexpectedly find themselves poised to inherit a vast fortune. The album features the film’s original score composed by Daniel Pemberton (The Awakening, Ridley Scott’s upcoming The Counselor). Abrams and starring Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin, John Cho, Bruce Greenwood, Benedict Cumberbatch and Peter Weller. The film’s music is composed by Abrams’ regular musical collaborator Michael Giacchino (Up, Lost). A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music is now available digitally from Varese Sarabande and will be released on CD next week. frances-haOpening in limited release is the indie comedy drama Frances Ha co-written and directed by Noah Baumbach and starring Greta Gerwig, Mickey Sumner, Adam Driver and Michael Zegen. ABKCO Records will release a soundtrack album featuring four tracks from classic film scores by composer Georges Delerue, Paul McCartney’s Blue Sway, David Bowie’s Modern Love, T. Rex’s Chrome Sitar and more next week. Also included is a track by Dean Wareham and Britta Phillips who scored Baumbach’s The Squid and the Whale.
