breaking-bad-2Madison Gate Records has released a new soundtrack album for AMC’s critically acclaimed and Emmy-winning drama Breaking Bad. The album features previously unreleased selections from the show’s original music composed by Dave Porter. Breaking Bad: Original Score from the Television Series Volume 2 is now available to download on iTunes, where you can also listen to audio clips. The label has previously released a soundtrack album for the show featuring songs from the first two seasons (click here for the full details), as well an album featuring selections of the score from all five seasons (click here for more information). hunger-games-catching-fireLionsgate and Republic Records have announced the details of the soundtrack album for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. The album features the original song Atlas by Coldplay, which is already available as a single, as well as a new song by Christina Aguillera. Other artists featured on the soundtrack include Patti Smith, Imagine Dragons, The Lumineers, Ellie Goulding, Sia, The Nationals, Santigold, Of Monsters and Men, The Weeknd and Phantogram. The soundtrack will be released physically and digitally on November 19, 2013. A separate soundtrack featuring the score composed by James Newton Howard is expected to be announced soon. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is directed by Francis Lawrence and stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Lenny Kravitz, Stanley Tucci and Donald Sutherland. black-nativityRaphael Saadiq and Laura Karpman are composing the score for the musical drama Black Nativity. The movie is directed by Kasi Lemmons and stars Forest Whitaker, Angela Bassett, Jennifer Hudson, Tyrese Gibson, Jacob Latimore, Nasir Jones (aka Nas), Mary J. Blige and Luke James. The film is based on the gospel musical by Langston Hughes, which premiered on Broadway in 1961 and follows a street-wise teen from Baltimore who is sent to New York City by his single mother to spend the Christmas holiday with his estranged relatives. Bill Horberg (The Talented Mr. Ripley) is producing the Maven Pictures production with Celine Rattray & Daniela Taplin Lundberg (The Kids Are All Right) and Galt Niederhoffer (Robot & Frank). The album features the film’s original score written by Golden Globe-nominated composer Brian Byrne (Albert Nobbs, The Good Doctor) and performed by the RTE Concert Orchestra, Kristina Train and Danielle De Niese. The album features the film’s original score composed by Nathan Larson (Boys Don’t Cry, Silent House). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon. The album features the film’s original score composed by Marcelo Zarvos (Remember Me, The Words, The Good Shepherd) who previously scored the director’s 2010 film Please Give. The soundtrack is now available to download on iTunes, where you can also listen to audio clips. Enough Said is written and directed by Holofcener and stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus, James Gandolfini, Catherine Keener, Toni Collette and Ben Falcone. The movie follows a divorced woman as she tries to secretly juggle two relationships and wonders whether her new favorite friend’s disastrous ex can be her cue for happiness. The film is directed by Steve Pink (Hot Tub Time Machine, Accepted) and stars Kevin Hart, Regina Hall, Michael Ealy, Joy Bryant, Adam Rodriguez, Christopher McDonald and Paula Patton. The movie is a remake of Edward Zwick’s 1986 film of the same title starring Rob Lowe & Demi Moore and featuring music by Miles Goodman. The dramedy is also based on David Mamet’s play Sexual Perversity in Chicago and follows a man and woman who enter into a relationship, but their friends get in the way. The album features the film’s original music composed by Steve Poltz (Bio-Dome) who is best known as a singer/songwriter and has collaborated with Jewel on a number of songs. Hyde is produced and directed by Suzanne Mitchell and centers on a modern cowboy and activist who manages a South Dakota horse sanctuary and has rescued 500 mustangs from wild horse roundups over the last 25 years. the-raid-2Director Gareth Evans has announced on Twitter that Joseph TrapaneseFajar Yuskemal and Aria Prayogi will be composing the score for the upcoming action sequel The Raid 2. Iko Uwais will reprise his role as police officer Rama from 2011’s The Raid: Redemption. The film takes place right after the first film ends and follows Rama as he goes undercover and infiltrates the ranks of a ruthless Jakarta crime syndicate in order to protect his family and uncover the corruption in his own police force. Evans has also written the screenplay and Ario Sagantoro is producing the PT Merantau Films and XYZ Films production with Nate Bolotin, Nick Spicer, Aram Tertzakian and Todd Brown.
