brian-tylerBrian Tyler has been hired to score the pilot of the upcoming Fox series Hieroglyph. The show is created by Travis Beacham (Pacific Rim, Clash of the Titans) and stars Max Brown, Reece Ritchie, John Rhys-Davis, Condola Rashad, Antony Bunsee, Kelsey Chow and Caroline Ford. The adventure drama is set in ancient Egypt and follows a notorious thief who is plucked from prison to serve the Pharaoh when a dangerous scroll is stolen from Egypt’s most secure vault. Beacham is also executive producing the Chernin Entertainment and 20th Century Fox Television production with Peter Chernin (Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Oblivion), Katherine Pope (New Girl, Touch) and Anna Fricke (Being Human). Miguel Sapochnik is also executive producing and directing the pilot episode. Hieroglyph is set to premiere next TV season on Fox.
