The film is directed by Andre Gaines (The One and Only Dick Gregory, After Jackie) and stars André Holland, Kate Mara, Zazie Beetz, Aldis Hodge, Stephen McKinley Henderson and Lauren E. Banks. The movie based on the 1964 play of the same title by Amiri Baraka is set on a New York subway and centers on an encounter between a a successful, but troubled black businessman and a seductive white woman who match wits in a sexualized game of cat and mouse that leads to a violent conclusion. Disney Branded Television announced today that Grammy Award-nominated singer/songwriter Justin Tranter is writing original songs for the upcoming Disney+ holiday comedy Jonas Brothers Christmas Movie (working title). He also serves as the executive music producer of the film directed by Jessica Yu (Quiz Lady, Misconception) and written by Isaac Aptaker & Elizabeth Berger (This Is Us, Love, Simon). The movie follows Kevin, Joe & Nick Jonas facing a series of escalating obstacles as they struggle to make it from London to New York in time to spend Christmas with their families. MovieScore Media will release a soundtrack album for the Paramount+ UK original series The Crow Girl. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Adam Price (Apartment 7A, Curfew). Lorne Balfe serves as the score producer and Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash (who is also an executive producer of the series) is the featured soloist on several tracks.
