Johnny Jewel (Bronson, Lost River, Holly, Don’t Come Back from the Moon, Those Who Kill) is set to score the upcoming indie drama Pretty Boy Delaney. The film is directed by Liv Forsythe and stars Jamie Bacon, Brandon Mychal Smith, Monroe Cline and James Oliver Wheatley. The movie follows a 26-year-old former boxing prodigy battling a relentless fentanyl addiction on the streets of Skid Row as he encounters a compassionate outreach worker and a boxing coach and is offered one last fight. Bacon also wrote the screenplay and is producing the Dean Street, Forsyth Films & CK Films production with Stephen Cookson (Arthur’s Whiskey, Brighton) and Neylin Mutlu & Hussain Manawer. Jewel has previously scored the Bacon-produced 2018 feature Into the Mirror. Pretty Boy Delaney is currently filming. No word yet on a premiere date. (Deadline)
