WaterTower Music will release a soundtrack album for the action thriller The Accountant 2. The album features the film’s original score composed by Bryce Dessner (of The National) (Sing Sing, We Live in Time, Cyrano, The Two Popes, Bardo, Manhunt, She Came to Me, A Good Person). Also included is a cover version of Nina Simone’s See-Line Woman performed by Danielle Ponder. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 18 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The Accountant 2 is directed by Gavin O’Connor and starsBen Affleck, Jon Bernthal, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Daniella Pineda, Allison Robertson and J.K. Simmons. The sequel to the 2016 feature follows Christian Wolff as he applies his brilliant mind to solve the murder of an old acquaintance and recruits his estranged and highly lethal brother to help. The thriller premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and will be released in theaters nationwide next Friday, April 25 by Amazon MGM Studios.
