criminalHaim Mazar has signed on to score the upcoming action thriller Criminal. The film is directed by Ariel Vromen and stars Kevin Costner, Gary Oldman, Tommy Lee Jones, Ryan Reynolds, Alice Eve and Gal Gadot. The movie revolves around a dangerous criminal who has the memories and skills of a dead CIA agent implanted into his brain in order to track down and stop an international terrorist. Douglas Cook & David Weisberg (The Rock, Double Jeopardy) have written the screenplay. Chris Bender (The Butterfly EffectWe’re the Millers), J.C. The album features selections from the show’s original music composed by Marco Beltrami (Scream, Snowpiercer, 3:10 to Yuma, World War Z). The soundtrack will be released on December 16, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Academy Award winner James Horner (Titanic, Braveheart, Avatar, A Beautiful Mind), including more than half an hour of previously unreleased music. The film is directed by Patricia Rozema (Mansfield Park, When Night Is Falling) and stars Ellen Page, Evan Rachel Wood, Callum Keith Rennie and Max Minghella. The movie based on the novel of the same title by Jean Hegland is set in the not-too-distant future and follows two sisters who must rely on one another as society crumbles around them and their forest home. Rozema has written the screenplay. Page is also producing the project with Niv Fichman (Enemy, The Red Violin, Blindness) and Aaron L. Gilbert (A Single Shot, Welcome to Me).
