Sony Classical will release a soundtrack album for the British TV series Home Fires. The album features selections from the show’s original music composed by Samuel Sim (Awake, Dunkirk, The Reckoning, including the drama’s theme, which the composer arranged into a new four minute version, Siren (Theme from “Home Fires”). The soundtrack will be released on May 6, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Home Fires stars Samantha Bond, Francesca Annis, Ed Stoppard, Ruth Gemmell, Claire Rushbrook, Frances Grey, Clare Calbraith and Rachel Hurd-Wood. The composer duo of Elegant Too (aka Chris Maxwell and Phil Hernandez) is scoring the new Showtime original series Dice. Steve Marion aka Delicate Steve has written the main titles theme for the comedy created by Scot Armstrong (Old School, Road Trip, Starksy & Hutch) and starring Andrew Dice Clay in the title role, as well as Kevin Corrigan and Natasha Leggero. Lorraine Bracco, Adrien Brody and Michael Rapaport appear as guest stars. The show is based on the comedian’s real life as he moves his family to Las Vegas in hopes of making a comeback. Armstrong and Clay are also executive producing the Fox 21 Television Studios production with Sean & Bryan Furst (Daybreakers, The Cooler), Bruce Rubenstein, Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka (The Sitter). Ewan McGregor revealed in a recent interview with Collider that Alexandre Desplat will score the actor’s feature directorial debut American Pastoral. The film also stars McGregor, alongside Uzo Aduba, David Strathairn, Jennifer Connelly, Rupert Evans and Dakota Fanning. The movie is based on Philip Roth’s novel of the same title and follows a legendary high school athlete whose seemingly perfect life shatters when his daughter rebels by committing a deadly act of terrorism during the Vietnam War. ‘Krisha’ Soundtrack Announced

Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the indie drama Krisha. The album features the film’s original music composed by Brian McOmber (A Teacher, Stockholm, Pennsylvania). The soundtrack will be released digitally on April 8, 2016 and physically later this year. Krisha is written and directed by Trey Edward Shults and stars Krisha Fairchild, Robyn Fairchild, Bill Wise, Trey Edward Shults, Chris Doubek, Olivia Grace Applegate, Alex Dobrenko and Chase Joliet. The movie is set in Texas and follows a family over a turbulent Thanksgiving weekend. The show is created by Jack & Harry Williams (The Missing) and stars Laura Fraser, Juliet Stevenson, Joanna Vanderham, John Lynch, Adrian Edmondson, Georgina Campbell, Kate Dickie, Joe Dempsie, Julie Graham, Gary Lewis and Steve Evets. The drama is set in rural Scotland and explores the fallout for the grieving relatives of a horrific double murder that rocks the lives of two families living side-by-side. Mark Brooks and Emily Kavanaugh of the Los Angeles synth pop band Night Club are scoring the animated comedy Nerdland. The film is directed by Chris Prynoski and features the voices of Paul Rudd, Patton Oswalt, Hannibal Buress, Riki Lindhome, Kate Micucci, Mike Judge and Reid Scott. The movie follows an aspiring actor and a would-be screenwriter Elliot who set out on an all-day journey in Los Angeles to make it big by the end of the night. Andrew Kevin Walker (Seven, Sleepy Hollow, 8MM) has written the screenplay. Two new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the faith-based drama God’s Not Dead 2 directed by Harold Cronk and starring Melissa Joan Hart, Jesse Metcalfe, David A.R. White, Ernie Hudson, Hayley Orrantia, Robin Givens, Fred Dalton Thompson, Maria Canals-Barrera and Sadie Robertson. The film’s original music is composed by Will Musser who previously scored the 2014 original film. Fair Trade Services has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from and inspired by the film by such artists as Newsboys, Citizen Way, John Tibbs, Audio Adrenaline, The Afters, Micah Taylor & more.
