Sony Classical will release a soundtrack album for the ITV mini-series Tutankhamun. The album features selections from the show’s original music composed by Christian Henson (The Devil’s Double, Triangle, Severance, Sinbad, Black Death, Wild Bill). The soundtrack will be released digitally overseas on October 14, 2016. Tutankhamun is directed by Peter Webber (The Girl with the Pearl Earring, Hannibal Rising), written by Guy Burt (Jekyll and Hyde, The Borgias) and stars Max Irons, Sam Neill, Catherine Steadman, Amy Wren, Jonathan Aris and Rupert Vansittart. Atli Orvarsson to Score David Rosenthal’s ‘Jacob’s Ladder’ Reboot

Atli Orvarsson has signed on to score the upcoming thriller Jacob’s Ladder. The film is directed by David Rosenthal and stars Michael Ealy, Jesse Williams and Nicole Beharie. The movie is based on Adrian Lynne’s 1990 feature starring Tim Robbins. No plot details have been announced yet. Jeff Buhler and Sarah Thorp (The Bounty Hunter) have written the screenplay. WaterTower Music will release a soundtrack album for the thriller The Accountant. The album features the film’s original music composed by Mark Isham (Crash, A River Runs Through It, Once Upon a Time, Quiz Show, 42, American Crime). The show developed by Tom Kapinos based on the DC Comics characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth & Mike Dringenberg stars Tom Ellis, Lauren German, Rachael Harris, DB Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro and Scarlett Estevez. The series revolves around the Lord of Hell who helps the LAPD punish criminals. Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack release for the 1956 epic The Ten Commandments directed by Cecil B. DeMille and starring Charlton Heston, Yul Brynner, Edward G. Robinson, Anne Baxter, John Derek and Vincent Price. The 60th Anniversary Soundtrack Collection features the film’s original music composed by Elmer Bernstein (The Magnificent Seven, To Kill a Mockingbird, Airplane!, Ghostbusters, Far from Heaven). Frederik Wiedmann has recently recorded his score for the upcoming thriller Vengeance: A Love Story. The movie revolves around a little girl who flags down a Niagara Falls Police Detective after her mother has been brutally raped by four meth heads. John Mankiewicz (House of Cards) has written the screenplay based on Joyce Carol Oates’ 2003 novel Rape: A Love Story. Sub Pop Records will release a soundtrack album for the Fox animated series Bob’s Burgers featuring the songs from the show. The album is set to be released later this fall, but four advance tracks, including the comedy’s theme song, as well as the songs Electric Love, Bad Stuff Happens in the Bathroom and St. Vincent’s cover of Bad Girls will be available to download this coming Tuesday, September 20. Check back on this page for the details of the full album. Bob’s Burgers created by Louren Bouchard and featuring the voices of H. Jon Benjamin, Dan Mintz, Eugene Mirman, Larry Murphy, John Roberts and Kristen Schaal follows Bob Belcher and his wife and three kids who try to run their last hope of holding the family together, which is running Bob’s dream restaurant.
