Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the fantasy comedy sequel Beetlejuice Beetlejuice directed by Tim Burton and starring Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, Jenna Ortega, Justin Theroux, Catherine O’Hara, Monica Bellucci, Arthur Conti and Willem Dafoe. The film’s original score is composed by Danny Elfman (Spider-Man, Batman, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Alice in Wonderland, Edward Scissorhands, Avengers: Age of Ultron). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s main title theme and end credits track, as well as the songs from the movie by artists such as Bee Gees, Donna Summer, Richard Marx, Tess Parks & others today. Also opening wide is the psychological horror thriller The Front Room directed by Max Eggers & Sam Eggers and starring Brandy Norwood, Kathryn Hunter, Neal Huff and Andrew Burnap. Marcelo Zarvos (The Equalizer 3, May December, Fences, Emancipation, The Good Shepherd, Wonder, The Affair, Ray Donovan) has composed the film’s original music. A24 Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today.
