The team behind the sound mixing of Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk has won the award for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Mixing in the Motion Pictures – Live Action category at tonight’s 54th annual Cinema Audio Society Awards ceremony at the Bunker Hill Ballroom of the OMNI Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza. Scoring mixer Alan Meyerson, along with production mixer Mark Weingarten, re-recording mixers Gregg Landaker & Gary Rizzo, ADR mixer Thomas J. ‘I Kill Giants’ Soundtrack Details

The details of the soundtrack album for the fantasy thriller I Kill Giants have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Laurent Perez Del Mar (The Red Turtle, My Son, To the Top). Also included is the previously unreleased song Under the Stars by the indie pop band London Grammar and a track by Danish singer Rasmus Walter. The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on March 30, 2018 by Varese Sarabande and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. I Kill Giants is directed by Anders Walter and stars Zoe Saldana. Madison Wolfe and Imogen Poots. The movie is based on the graphic novel by Joe Kelly & Ken Niimura and tells the story of a teenager who struggles through school and family life by escaping into a fantasy world of magic and monsters. Three new movies are opening nationwide this week:
Opening in most theaters is the comedy Game Night directed by John Francis Daley & Jonathan Goldstein and starring Jason Bateman, Rachel McAdams, Billy Magnussen, Sharon Horgan, Lamorne Morris, Kylie Bunbury, Jesse Plemons and Kyle Chandler. The film’s original music is composed by Cliff Martinez (Drive, Traffic, Contagion, Solaris, The Knick, The Neon Demon). Also opening wide is the sci-fi thriller Annihilation written and directed by Alex Garland and starring Natalie Portman, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Gina Rodgriguez, Tessa Thompson, Tuva Novotny and Oscar Isaac. Sony Classical will release the official soundtrack album for the spy thriller Red Sparrow. The album features the film’s original music composed by James Newton Howard (The Hunger Games, The Sixth Sense, The Fugitive, Signs, King Kong, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them). The soundtrack is expected to be released on March 2 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon (CD version) and here (digital version). Red Sparrow is directed by Francis Lawrence and stars Jennifer Lawrence, Joel Edgerton, Matthias Schoenaerts, Charlotte Rampling, Mary-Louise Parker and Jeremy Irons. Performers of Academy Award-Nominated Songs Announced

The performers of this year’s nominated songs at the 90th Oscars ceremony have been announced today by show producers Michael De Luca and Jennifer Todd. Gael Garcia Bernal, Natalie LaFourcade and Miguel will perform Remember Me from Pixar’s Coco written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez & Robert Lopez. Bernal provided the voice of the main character in the film and Miguel & LaFourcade recorded the end credits version of the song. Mary J.
