Interscope Records will release a new soundtrack album for the Netflix original series 13 Reasons Why. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Eskmo (Billions). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 15 and will be available to download on Amazon. The label has previously released the composer’s score from the first season, as well as two soundtracks featuring the songs from the drama. Season 2 of 13 Reasons Why developed by Brian Yorkey based on the books by Jay Asher and starring Dylan Minnette, Katherine Langford, Kate Walsh, Brian D’Arcy James, Alisha Boe, Derek Luke, Christian Navarro, Brandon Flynn, Justin Prentice & Miles Heizer is now available to stream on Netflix. Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for David & Nathan Zellner’s western comedy Damsel. The album features the film’s original music composed by The Octopus Project who have previously scored the directors’ Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter and Kid-Thing. The soundtrack will be released digitally on June 22, 2018 and will be available to download on Amazon. Damsel is written and directed by the Zellner brothers’ and stars Robert Pattinson, Mia Wasikowska, Robert Forster, the Zellner brothers themselves and Joseph Biligiere. The film is directed by Albert Hughes (Menace 2 Society, From Hell) and stars Kodi Smit-McPhee and Jóhannes Haukur Jóhanness. The movie is set 20,000 years ago in Europe during the Upper Paleolithic period and centers on a young man’s friendship with a wolf. Daniele Sebastian Wiedenhaupt wrote the screenplay based on a story by Hughes who is also producing the Studio 8 production with Andrew Rona (Non-Stop, The Commuter). Also included is the song Too Late for Us performed by Kelsy Karter and a cover of Don’t You Forget About Me by Barton feat. Karter. The show is written and directed by Hugo Blick and stars Michaela Cole, John Goodman, Noma Dumezweni, Harriet Walter, Tamara Tunie, Lucian Msamati and Abena Ayivor. The drama tells the story of Kate Ashby, played by Coel, who was rescued as a young child during the Rwandan genocide and adopted by Eve Ashby, a world-class British prosecutor in international criminal law. George Fenton has been hired to score the upcoming revenge thriller Hard Powder. The film is directed by Hans Petter Moland (Aberdeen) and stars Liam Neeson, Laura Dern, Emmy Rossum, William Forsythe, Benjamin Hollingsworth, Domenick Lombardozzi and Tom Bateman. The movie is based on Moland’s 2014 feature In Order of Disappearance and follows a snowplow driver and pillar of his Colorado community whose life is up-ended by his son’s killing at the hands of a powerful local drug lord. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Arthur Sharpe. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. The production companies have previously released an album featuring Sharpe’s music from the first season. Flowers is created by Will Sharpe and stars Olivia Colman, Julian Barratt, Daniel Rigby and Sophia Di Martino. The show revolves around a renowned children’s book author who is battling severe depression as he tries to sort out his not-quite-complete divorce from his delusional, music teacher wife. Theodore Shapiro has been tapped to score the upcoming animated comedy Spies in Disguise. The film is directed by Nick Bruno & Troy Quane and features the voices of Will Smith and Tom Holland. The movie is based on the 2009 short Pigeon: Impossible and revolves around a secret agent who nearly triggers a global conflict when a pigeon gets stuck in a government-issued nuclear briefcase.
