Three new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this week:

Opening in most theaters Pixar’s animated feature Incredibles 2 directed by Brad Bird and featuring the voices of Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Sarah Vowell, Huck Milner and Samuel L. Jackson. The film’s original music is composed by Michael Giacchino (Up, Ratatouille, Inside Out, Star Trek, Lost, Jurassic World, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story). Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. Click here for the full album details.

Also opening wide is the comedy Tag directed by Jeff Tomsic and starring Ed Helms, Jeremy Renner, Hannibal Buress, Isla Fisher, Jake Johnson, Jon Hamm, Annabelle Wallis, Rashida Jones and Leslie Bibb. Germaine Franco (Dope, Vida) has composed the film’s original music. ‘Higher Power’ Soundtrack Released

Notefornote Music has released a soundtrack album for the sci-fi thriller Higher Power. The album features the film’s original music composed by Kevin Riepl (Cabin Fever, Silent Night, Batman Unlimited, Vigilante Diaries, Justice League Action). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. Higher Power is co-written and directed by Matthew Santoro and stars Ron Eldard, Jade Tailor, Austin Stowell, Jordan Hinson, Colm Feore, Tom Wright and Laura Margolis. Soundtrack for Pixar’s ‘Bao’ Released

Walt Disney Records has released the soundtrack for the new Pixar Animation Studios short Bao. The film’s original music is composed by Toby Chu (Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return, Covert Affairs, Unforgettable, Burn Notice, Henchmen). The soundtrack is now available to download as a digital single on Amazon. Bao is directed by Domee Shi and follows an empty-nesting Chinese mom who gets another chance at motherhood when one of her dumplings springs to life and must come to terms with the bittersweet revelation that nothing stays cute and small forever. ‘Leave No Trace’ Soundtrack Details

Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for Leave No Trace. The album features the film’s original music composed by Dickon Hinchliffe (Winter’s Bone, Out of the Furnace, Locke, Last Chance Harvey, Little Men). The soundtrack will be released digitally on June 29, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Leave No Trace is directed by Debra Granik and stars Ben Foster, Thomasin Harcourt McKenzie, Jeff Kober and Dale Dickey. The movie follows a father and his thirteen year-old daughter who are living in an ideal existence in a vast urban park in Portland, Oregon, when a small mistake derails their lives forever. ‘The Housemaid’ Soundtrack Released

Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the Vietnamese gothic horror romance The Housemaid. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jerome Leroy (The Throwaways, One Christmas Eve). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. The Housemaid is directed by Derek Nguyen and stars Nhung Kate, Jean-Michel Richaud, Kim Xuan, Phi Phung, Kien An and Rosie Fellner. The movie tells the story of an orphaned country girl named who gets hired to be a housemaid at a haunted French rubber plantation and awakens the vengeful ghost of the landowner’s dead wife. Pinar Toprak has announced that she is set to score Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel. The film is directed by Ryan Fleck & Anna Bowen (Half Nelson, Mississippi Grind) and stars Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, Mckenna Grace, Clark Gregg and Jude Law. The movie follows the title character as she turns into one of the galaxy’s mightiest heroes after the Earth is caught in the center of an intergalactic conflict between two alien worlds. ‘Puzzle’ Soundtrack to Be Released

Sony Masterworks will release the official soundtrack album for the drama Puzzle. Thea album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Dustin O’Halloran (Lion, Transparent, Like Crazy, Equals). Also included is the original song Horizons co-written by the composer and performed by Ane Brun. The soundtrack will be released digitally on July 27, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Puzzle is directed by Marc Turtletaub and stars Kelly Macdonald, Irrfan Khan, David Denman, Bubba Weiler, Austin Abrams and Liv Hewson. Interscope Records will release a new soundtrack album for the Netflix original series 13 Reasons Why. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Eskmo (Billions). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 15 and will be available to download on Amazon. The label has previously released the composer’s score from the first season, as well as two soundtracks featuring the songs from the drama. Season 2 of 13 Reasons Why developed by Brian Yorkey based on the books by Jay Asher and starring Dylan Minnette, Katherine Langford, Kate Walsh, Brian D’Arcy James, Alisha Boe, Derek Luke, Christian Navarro, Brandon Flynn, Justin Prentice & Miles Heizer is now available to stream on Netflix. ‘Damsel’ Soundtrack Details

Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for David & Nathan Zellner’s western comedy Damsel. The album features the film’s original music composed by The Octopus Project who have previously scored the directors’ Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter and Kid-Thing. The soundtrack will be released digitally on June 22, 2018 and will be available to download on Amazon. Damsel is written and directed by the Zellner brothers’ and stars Robert Pattinson, Mia Wasikowska, Robert Forster, the Zellner brothers themselves and Joseph Biligiere. (Article updated on July 23, 2018): Michael Stearns & Joseph S. DeBeasi are composing the original score for the upcoming survival drama Alpha. The film is directed by Albert Hughes (Menace 2 Society, From Hell) and stars Kodi Smit-McPhee and Jóhannes Haukur Jóhanness. The movie is set 20,000 years ago in Europe during the Upper Paleolithic period and centers on a young man’s friendship with a wolf. Daniele Sebastian Wiedenhaupt wrote the screenplay based on a story by Hughes who is also producing the Studio 8 production with Andrew Rona (Non-Stop, The Commuter).
