Lisbeth Scott has signed on to score the upcoming Lifetime original movie Somebody’s Someone: The Regina Louise Story. The film is directed by Janice Cooke and stars Angela Fairley, Ginnifer Goodwin, Monique Coleman, Sherri Saum and Kim Hawthorne. The drama is based on a memoir about Regina Louise, a young African-American girl who navigated over 30 foster homes and psychiatric facilities before age 18, and the one woman who believed in her. ‘The House of Tomorrow’ Soundtrack Album to Be Released

A soundtrack album will be released for the coming-of-age drama The House of Tomorrow. The album features the film’s original score composed by Rob Simonsen (Foxcatcher, The Spectacular Now, Love, Simon, Nerve, Tully, (500) Days of Summer, The Front Runner). The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 2, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. The House of Tomorrow is written and directed by Peter Livolsi and stars Asa Butterfield, Ellen Burstyn, Nick Offerman, Alex Wolff, Maude Apatow and Michaela Watkins. Bear McCreary has confirmed that he will be returning as the composer for the upcoming slasher sequel Happy Death Day 2U. The film is written directed by Christopher Landon who previously helmed the original film and stars Jessica Rothe, Israel Broussard, Phi Vu, Ruby Modine & Rachel Matthews who are reprising their roles from last year’s hit movie. They are joined by Suraj Sharma and Sarah Yarkin. The movie picks up where things left off after the first film when the lead characters find out that the time loop just got passed on to one of their friends and find themselves in another race against time to determine the cause. Deutsche Grammophon will release a soundtrack album for Lukas Dhont’s drama Girl. The album features the film’s original music composed by Valentin Hadjadj (April and the Extraordinary World) who recently received a World Soundtrack Awards nomination in the Discovery of the Year category. The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 5, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. La-La Land Records has announced the details of the new soundtrack release for the 1993 sports comedy The Sandlot directed by David Mickey Evans and starring Tom Guiry, Mike Vitar, Karen Allen, Denis Leary and James Earl Jones. The album features the expanded and remastered original score from the 20th Century Fox production composed by Academy Award nominee David Newman (Anastasia, Ice Age, The Flintstones, War of the Roses, Girls Trip, The Nutty Professor), including over 40 minutes of previously unreleased music. ‘King Cohen’ Soundtrack to Be Released

La-La Land Entertainment has announced the Blu-ray release of the documentary King Cohen, which includes the soundtrack album featuring the film’s original music composed by Joe Kraemer (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Jack Reacher, The Way of the Gun) as a bonus disc. The Blu-ray, which is limited to 5000 copies, is now available to order on the label’s website, where you can also listen to audio samples from Kraemer’s score.
