Three new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the animated feature UglyDolls directed by Kelly Asbury and starring Kelly Clarkson, Nick Jonas, Blake Shelton, Janelle Monae, Wanda Sykes, Emma Roberts, Gabriel Iglesias, Wang Leehom and Pitbull. The film’s original score is composed by Christopher Lennertz (Lost in Space, Horrible Bosses, Sausage Party) who also co-wrote most of the film’s original songs with Glenn Slater (Tangled, Galavant). Atlantic Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs last week. Click here for the full album details.
Also opening wide is the romantic comedy Long Shot directed by Jonathan Levine and starring Seth Rogen, Charlize Theron, Andy Serkis, June Diane Raphael, Ravi Patel, Bob Odenkirk and Alexander Skarsgård. Marco Beltrami (Logan, A Quiet Place, Scream, World War Z, 3:10 to Yuma) & Miles Hankins (The Night Before, Len and Company) have composed the film’s original score.
