Sacha Chaban has been hired on to compose the score for the upcoming crime thriller Anderson Falls. The film is directed by Julien Seri (Yamakasi, Night Fare) and stars Shawn Ashmore, Gary Cole, Daniella Alonso, Richard Harmon, Vahina Giocante, Sonya Walger and Lin Shaye. The movie revolves around a detective who becomes convinced that his wife’s suicide is a murder and finds out that she was the victim of a team of father-and-son serial killers. ‘King Cohen’ Soundtrack to Be Released

La-La Land Entertainment has announced the Blu-ray release of the documentary King Cohen, which includes the soundtrack album featuring the film’s original music composed by Joe Kraemer (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Jack Reacher, The Way of the Gun) as a bonus disc. The Blu-ray, which is limited to 5000 copies, is now available to order on the label’s website, where you can also listen to audio samples from Kraemer’s score. King Cohen is directed by Steve Mitchell and centers writer, producer, director and creator Larry Cohen (Black Caesar, It’s Alive, Q: The Winged Serpent) and features interviews with Martin Scorsese, J.J. Danny Bensi and Saunder Jurriaans have been tapped to score the second season of the Starz original series American Gods. The show is based on Neil Gaiman’s fantasy novel and stars Ian McShane, Ricky Whittle, Yetide Badaki, Crispin Glover and Orlando Jones. They will be joined by new cast members Dean Winters, Devery Jacobs, Sakina Jaffrey, and Kahyun Kim. A soundtrack album has been released for the French comedy Paris Pigalle (L’amour est une fête). The album features the film’s original music composed by Grégoire Hetzel (Incendies, Summertime, Ismael’s Ghosts, My Golden Days, The Midwife). Also included songs by Ornella Vanoni, Alain Kan, Sonia and Murray Head as featured in the movie.The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples and check out the track list. A physical version is also available overseas. Paris Pigalle  is written and directed by Cédric Anger and stars Guillaume Canet, Gilles Lellouche, Michel Fau and Xavier Beauvois. The film is written and directed by Paul Downs Colaizzo and stars Jillian Bell, Michaela Watkins, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Lil Rel Howery, Micah Stock and Alice Lee. CineConcerts to Present ‘Rudy In Concert’

CineConcerts has announced today the 25th anniversary celebration of Rudy In Concert event, live at the historic Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on November 10, 2018. Justin Freer will be conducting the 80-piece Hollywood Chamber Orchestra performing Jerry Goldsmith’s complete score live while the entire film is projected on a massive 40-foot HD screen. Special guests including actor Sean Astin, Rudy Ruettiger, director David Anspaugh, writer Angelo Pizzo, producer Cary Woods and more will be participating in a pre-concert panel on stage. Walt Disney Records will release the official soundtrack album for the fantasy adventure The Nutcracker and the Four Realms. The album features the film’s music composed by James Newton Howard (The Hunger Games, King Kong, The Sixth Sense, Signs, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, The Fugitive) and conducted by Gustavo Dudamel. Premiere (via The Playlist) is reporting that Mark Mothersbaugh is composing original songs for Wes Anderson’s, currently untitled, next movie. The film is being described as a French musical set in a fictional city in the 1950s. No specific plot details have been revealed for the project and no casting announcements have been made yet. No word yet on whether Mothersbaugh will also be providing the original score. The composer scored Anderson’s first four movies (including Rushmore and The Royal Tenenbaums), while Alexandre Desplat composed the music for the director’s last several features (including The Grand Budapest Hotel and this year’s Isle of Dogs). ‘The Staircase’ Soundtrack Released

A soundtrack album has been released for the docu-series The Staircase. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Jocelyn Pook (Eyes Wide Shut, The Wife, The Merchant of Venice, Brick Lane). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. The Staircase is directed and executive produced by Jean-Xavier de Lestrade and centers on the trial of author Michael Peterson who, after the mysterious death of his wife, watches his life go under the microscope. The series premiered in 2004 in France on Canal + and the following year on BBC Four in the UK and on the Sundance Channel in the U.S.. Premiering tomorrow, September 24, is the new NBC drama Manifest created by Jeff Rake and starring Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, Athena Karkanis, J. R. Ramirez, Parveen Kaur and Luna Blaise.
