Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the BBC mini-series The Cry. The album features the original music from the 4-parter composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Home, The Lego Batman Movie, The Crown, Genius, Terminator Genisys). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 5 and will be available to download on Amazon. The Cry is written by Jacquelin Perske based on the novel by Helen FitzGeralda and stars Jenna Coleman, Ewen Leslie, Stella Gonet, Sophie Kennedy Clark, Asher Keddie, Alex Dimitriades, Markella Kavenagh and Shareena Clanton. Milan Records will release the official soundtrack album for Steve McQueen’s heist thriller Widows. Hans Zimmer (Gladiator, Inception, The Dark Knight, The Lion King, Dunkirk, Pirates of the Caribbean) who previously composed the music for the director’s 12 Years a Slave has composed the film’s original score.
