Three new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this weekend:

Expected to top the weekend box office is the biographical drama Bohemian Rhapsody directed by Bryan Singer and starring Rami Malek, Lucy Boynton, Gwilym Lee, Ben Hardy, Joseph Mazzello, Aiden Gillen, Tom Hollander and Mike Myers. The movie doesn’t feature an original score. Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the film performed by Queen. Also opening wide is the fantasy adventure The Nutcracker and the Four Realms directed by Lasse Hallstrom and starring Keira Knigthley, Mackenzie Foy, Misty Copeland, Morgan Freeman and Helen Mirren. James Newton Howard (The Hunger Games, King Kong, The Sixth Sense) has composed the film’s score based on themes from Tchaikovsky’s classic 1892 ballet score. Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well an original song performed by Andrea Bocelli. Click here for the full album details. ‘Rampant’ (‘Chang-gwol’) Soundtrack Released

A soundtrack album has been released for the South Korean zombie thriller Rampant (Chang-gwol). The album features the film’s original music composed by Inyoung Park (Pieta, Moebius, The Target). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. Rampant is directed by Kim Sung-hoon (Confidential Assignment) and stars Hyun Bin and Jang Dong-gun. The movie is set in the Joseon dynasty and tells the story of a prince who struggles to save Joseon from the rampage of what’s known as the Night Demons. ‘Prospect’ Soundtrack Details

Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the sci-fi western Prospect. The album features the film’s original music composed by Daniel L.K. Caldwell. The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, November 9 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Prospect is written and directed by Zeek Earl & Christopher Caldwell and stars Sophie Thatcher, Pedro Pascal, Jay Duplass, Andre Royo, Sheila Vand and Anwan Glover. Hailee Steinfeld’s ‘Back to Life’ from ‘Bumblebee’ Released

Republic Records has released the original song Back to Life from the soundtrack for the Transformers spin-off Bumblebee. The track is performed by Hailee Steinfeld who also stars in the movie.Jorgen Odegard produced and co-wrote the song with Michael Pollack, Josh Gudwin and Kennedy Lykken. The song is now available to download as a digital single on Amazon. Also listen to the full track after the jump. Bumblebee is directed by Travis Knight and also stars John Cena, Stephen Schneider and Jorge Lendeborg Jr. The action adventure scored by Dario Marianelli will be released in theaters nationwide on December 21 by Paramount Pictures. ‘Nashville’ Score Album Released

Lionsgate Records has released a score album for the ABC and CMT drama Nashville. The album features the original score from the series composed by Emmy Award winner W.G. Snuffy Walden (The West Wing, Friday Night Lights, Felicity, Studio 60 on Sunset Strip) and A. Patrick Rose (Under the Dome, SEAL Team). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon and iTunes, where you can also check out audio samples. Big Machine Records has previously released numerous soundtrack albums featuring the songs from all six seasons of the show. Nashville created by Callie Khouri and starring Connie Britton, Hayden Panettiere, Clare Bowen, Eric Close, Charles Esten, Jonathan Jackson, Sam Palladio, Chris Carmack and Lennon & Maisy Stella aired between 2012 and 2018 on ABC (seasons 1-4) and CMT (seasons 5 & 6). BBC’s & Netflix’s ‘Watership Down’ to Feature Theme Song by Sam Smith

BBC has announced today that Sam Smith has recorded an original original song for the animated mini-series Watership Down. The track, entitled Fire On Fire, which will serve as the theme for the show, is co-written by Smith & Steve Mac and was recorded with the BBC Concert Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios in London this past September. The 4-part series is directed by Noam Murro and stars James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, Ben Kingsley, John Boyega, Gemma Arterton, Tom Wilkinson, Miles Jupp, Freddie Fox, Olivia Colman, Anne-Marie Duff, Daniel Kaluuya, Rosamund Pike, Peter Capaldi, Taron Egerton, Mackenzie Crook and Gemma Chan. Marco Beltrami is composing the original music for the upcoming thriller Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile. The film is directed by Joe Berlinger (Brother’s Keeper, Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2) and stars Zac Efron as Ted Bundy, alongside Lily Collins, Kaya Scodelario, John Malkovich, Haley Joel Osment, Jim Parsons, Terry Kinney and Dylan Baker. The movie tells the story of serial killer Ted Bunny from the perspective of his girlfriend Elizabeth Kloepfer, who struggled to accept the reality of her boyfriend’s nature. Back Lot Music will release a score album for Illumination Entertainment’s animated feature Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch. The album features the film’s original score composed by Danny Elfman (Spider-Man, Batman, Alice in Wonderland, Nightmare Before Christmas, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory). The soundtrack will be released digitally on November 9, 2018 and will be available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. As previously reported, Columbia Records will release a separate soundtrack featuring the songs from the movie and two tracks from Elfman’s score. ‘The Front Runner’ Soundtrack Details

Sony Classical will release the official soundtrack album for Jason Reitman’s drama The Front Runner. The album features the film’s original music composed by Rob Simonsen (Love, Simon, The Spectacular Now, Foxcatcher, Nerve, (500) Days of Summer) who has previously collaborated with the director on his last feature, Tully. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, November 2 and will be available to download on Amazon. The Front Runner is co-written and directed by Reitman and stars Hugh Jackman, Vera Farmiga, J.K. Simmons and Alfred Molina. The movie follows the rise and fall of Senator Hart, who captured the imagination of young voters and was considered the overwhelming front runner for the 1988 Democratic presidential nomination when his campaign was sidelined by the story of an extramarital relationship with Donna Rice.
