Globe has released a soundtrack album for the British crime comedy Dead in a Week (Or Your Money Back). The album features the film’s original score composed by Guy Garvey, Peter Jobson and Paul Saunderson (Three Identical Strangers). Also included are songs by Isaac Gracie and YUNGBLUD. The show is created by Aaron Martin (Slasher, Saving Hope) and stars Katee Sackhoff, Selma Blair, Justin Chatwin, Tyler Hoechlin, Samuel Anderson, Elizabeth Faith Ludlow, Blu Hunt, A. J. Rivera, Alexander Eling, Alex Ozerov, Jake Abel, JayR Tinaco, Jessica Camacho, Barbara Williams and Lina Renna. The sci-fi drama revolves around an astronaut and her young crew who face unimaginable danger as they go on a high-risk mission to explore the genesis of an alien artifact. Universal Music Enterprises has released the first soundtrack album for the Amazon original series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. The album features a selection of songs from the show’s first season by Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand, Peggy Lee, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, Julie London, Connie Francis & more. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon. Antonio Pinto (City of God, McFarland, USA, Lord of War, Self/less) has recently composed the music for the upcoming drama The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind. The film marks the feature directorial debut of actor Chiwetel Ejiofor who also stars in the movie alongside Maxwell Simba, Aïssa Maïga, Lily Banda, Lemogang Tsipa, Philbert Falakeza, Joseph Marcell and Noma Dumezweni. The movie is based on the book of the same title written by William Kamkwamba & Bryan Mealer and tells the story of a 13-year-old boy who helps his village by building a wind turbine after reading about them in a library book. The drama is based on the articles and true crime podcast of the same title from LA Times reporter Christopher Goffard and tells the true story of how Debra’s romance with the charismatic John Meehan spiraled into secrets, denial and manipulation. Yesterday, Lalo Schifrin was honored with an Honorary Academy Award at the 10th Governors Awards at the Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland Center. The composer whose scoring credits include Mission: ImpossibleThe Cincinnati KidEnter the Dragon, Cool Hand Luke, BullitThe Amityville Horror and Rush Hour was introduced by actress Kathy Bates (who starred in Schifrin-scored The Bridge of San Rey) and Clint Eastwood who collaborated with Schifrin on eight movies including Dirty Harry, Sudden Impact and The Deal Pool.
