HSI Records has released a soundtrack album for the faith-based drama An Interview With God. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ian Honeyman (Operation: Endgame, Redline, 51). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. An Interview with God is directed by Perry Lang and stars Brenton Thwaites, David Straithairn, Yael Grobglas, Hill Harper and Charlbi Dean Kriek. The movie is set in New York City and revolves around an up-and-coming journalist who is granted an interview with a man who claims to be God.

Weekly Film Music Roundup (May 23, 2014)
Two new movies are opening nationwide this holiday weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the superhero sequel X-Men: Days of Future Past directed by Bryan Singer and starring Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Peter Dinklage, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen. The film’s music is composed by John Ottman (X2, The Usual Suspects, The Fantastic Four) who also serves as the film’s editor. Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music, as well as two songs from the film. Click here for the full album details. Also opening wide is the romantic comedy Blended directed by Frank Coraci and starring Adam Sandler, Drew Barrymore, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Kevin Nealon, Terry Crews, Joel McHale, Bella Thorne, Emma Fuhrmann, Jessica Lowe and Dan Patrick. The film’s original score is composed by Rupert Gregson-Williams (Click, Bee Movie, Winter’s Tale, Veep). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the film by such artists as Terry Crews and Junior Mambazo, Fifth Harmony, The Elected, The Mowgli’s, Ball Park Music and Hot Water. ‘Gore Vidal: The United States of Amnesia’ Soundtrack Released
Madified Publishing has released a soundtrack album for the documentary Gore Vidal: The United States of Amnesia. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ian Honeyman. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon. Audio clips can be checked out below. Gore Vidal: The United States of Amnesia is directed by Nicholas D. Wrathall and centers on the controversial author, screenwriter and essayist who passed away in 2012. Through interviews with Vidal himself, as well as friends and colleagues such as Tim Robbins and Christopher Hitchens, the movie reveals how the charismatic cultural critic used the media to wage blistering attacks on hypocrisy and establishment politics. The documentary premiered at last year’s Tribeca Film Festival and will be released in select theaters on May 23 by IFC Films, following by a VOD release on May 29.
‘Jock of the Bushveld’ Soundtrack released
Klaus Badelt‘s Label Zero has released the soundtrack album for the animated feature Jock of the Bushveld. The album includes selections from the film’s original score by Badelt and Ian Honeyman. Also featured on the soundtrack are original songs performed by Bryan Adams, Johnny Clegg, Mandy Patinkin, Craig Hinds, Nianell and James Carrington. The album is available to download on Amazon. Jock of the Bushveld directed by Duncan MacNeillie marks South Africa’s first 3D animated feature. The movie centers on the fearless dog Jock (voiced by Bryan Adams) who helps his master survive the wild challenges of the 1880s gold rush in the northeast of what would become South Africa. Donald Sutherland is narrating the film.
Klaus Badelt’s upcoming projects
Klaus Badelt has a number of movies coming out in 2011. Already recorded is the score for the horror comedy Dylan Dog: Dead of Night. The film based on the comic book series Dylan Dog centers around supernatural private eye, Dylan Dog, who seeks out the monsters of the Louisiana bayou in his signature red shirt, black jacket, and blue jeans. The film is directed by Kevin Munroe, who previously worked with Badelt on the 2007 animated film TMNT (Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles). The movie stars Brandon Routh, Sam Huntington, Peter Stormare and Taye Diggs. No domestic release date has been announced, but the movie is scheduled to open in March in Italy (click here to watch the Italian movie trailer).
