Universal Music/Polydor Records will release the official soundtrack album for Danny Boyle’s musical romantic comedy Yesterday. The album features the Beatles covers from the movie performed by lead actor Himesh Patel, as well as a duet by Patel & Lily James. Also included is the film’s original score composed by Daniel Pemberton (Steve Jobs, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Ocean’s 8, The Man from U.N.C.L.E.). The soundtrack will be released on June 21, 2019 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon (digital version) and here (CD version). Warner Music Poland has released a soundtrack album for the Polish drama Dolce Fine Giornata. The album features the film’s original music composed by Daniel Bloom (All That I Love, Lasting) (feat. Leszek Mozdzer). The soundtrack is now available to stream on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Dolce Fine Giornata is co-written and directed by Jacek Borcuch and stars Krystyna Janda, Kasia Smutniak, Vincent Riotta, Antonio Catania, Lorenzo de Moor and Robin Renuccistars. The Tuscany-set movie follows a woman whose stable family life begins to erode as her relationship with a young immigrant develops against a backdrop of terrorism and eroding democracy. The album features the film’s original music composed by Nainita Desai (The Confessions of Thomas Quick, Darkness Visible). Enemy Within is written and directed by Gabriel Robertson and stars Joseph Naufahu, Kazuma Sano, Beulah Koale, Rila Fukushima and Melissa Paulo. Four new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this week:
Opening in most theaters is the action adventure Pokémon Detective Pikachu directed by Rob Letterman and starring Ryan Reynolds, Justice Smith, Kathryn Newton and Ken Watanabe. The film’s original music is composed by Henry Jackman (Captain America: The Winter Soldier & Civil War, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, X-Men: First Class).
