Lakeshore Records has released a new soundtrack album for the Paramount Network original series Yellowstone. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Brian Tyler (Avengers: Age of Ultron, Fast & FuriousIron Man 3Now You See Me, Crazy Rich Asians). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Sony Classical has previously released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music from the first season. Sony Classical will release a soundtrack album for the animated sequel The Angry Birds Movie 2. The album features the film’s original score composed by Heitor Pereira (Despicable Me, Minions, Smallfoot, Beverly Hills Chihuahua) who previously scored the original 2016 The Angry Birds Movie. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 9 and will be available to download here. Deadline is reporting that Nell Benjamin and Laurence O’Keefe are currently working on an untitled comedy movie musical for Universal Pictures. They are writing both the songs and screenplay for the project, which is produced by Scott Sanders (The Odd Life of Timothy Green) & Mara Jacobs at Scott Sanders Productions. The producers are also involved in movie adaptations of the musicals In the Heights and The Color Purple. The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has today published the rules and timeline for the EE British Academy Film Awards, following its annual review of all categories. Among the changes, it was announced that the Original Music category will be renamed Original Score, “underlining a focus on composer and score, and acknowledging the integral part they play in contributing to the narrative, atmosphere and emotional landscape of the film”.
