The film is directed by Francis Annan and stars Daniel Radcliffe, Daniel Webber, Ian Hart, Mark Leonard Winter and Nathan Page. The movie tells the true story of freedom fighters Tim Jenkin and Stephen Lee, who were jailed in 1978 for being involved in covert anti-apartheid operations, as they attempt to break out from a maximum security South African jail. Warner Bros. Pictures/New Line Cinema have confirmed that Joseph Bishara will return as the composer for the horror sequel The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. The film is directed by Michael Chaves and stars Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga who reprise their roles as Ed and Lorraine Warren. They are joined by Ruairi O’Connor, Sarah Catherine Hook and Julian Hilliard. David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick (Orphan) wrote the screenplay based on a story by himself and James Wan (Aquaman, Furious 7, Insidious) who is producing the project with Peter Safran (Shazam!, The Nun). Silva Screen Records will release a new soundtrack album for the BBC Earth natural history series Seven Worlds One Planet. The Expanded Edition soundtrack features selections of the show’s music composed by Jacob Shea (Planet Earth II, Blue Planet II) for Bleeding Fingers Music who also wrote the project’s theme with Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, Gladiator, The Dark Knight, Inception), including over an hour of previously unreleased music. Walt Disney Pictures has added the score for Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker to their FYC awards website. The 23-track album featuring music composed by John Williams (Jaws, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jurassic Park, E.T., Schindler’s List, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone) is now available to stream here. ‘Mindhunter’ Season 2 Soundtrack Released

BMG has released a new soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Mindhunter. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Jason Hill. The soundtrack is now available to stream and download on Amazon Music, where you can also check out audio samples. Milan Records has previously released released a soundtrack featuring Hill’s score from Season 1. Mindhunter is created by Joe Penhall, executive produced by David Fincher and stars Jonathan Groff, Holt McCallany, Anna Torv and Stacey Roca. The series is set in the late 1970s and centers on two FBI agents expand criminal science by delving into the psychology of murder and getting uneasily close to all-too-real monsters. Netflix announced today that singer/songwriter Paul McCartney will be writing original songs for the animated movie High in the Clouds based on the popular children’s adventure novel of the same title by McCartney and Geoff Dunbar & Philip Ardagh. Timothy Reckart (The Star, Head Over Heels) is directing the film, which follows an imaginative teenage squirrel who finds himself pulled into a ramshackle gang of teenage rebels who live high in the clouds. The Cinema Audio Society has announced the nominees for the 56th Annual CAS Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Mixing. For the past few years, scoring mixers have been recognized alongside production, re-recording, ADR and foley mixers. In the Motion Pictures – Live Action category, the scoring mixers honored include Tyson Lozensky for James Mangold’s Ford v Ferrari (scored by Marco Beltrami & Buck Sanders) and Daniel Kresco for Todd Phillips’ Joker (music by Hildur Gudnadottir).
