The full details of the soundtrack album for the film adaptation of the stage musical Cats have been revealed. The album features the film’s music composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber (Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar) and performed by cast members including James Corden, Judi Dench, Jason Derulo, Jennifer Hudson, Ian McKellen, Rebel Wilson, Francesca Hayward, Robbie Fairchild and Taylor Swift. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Christopher Lennertz (Horrible Bosses, Sausage Party, The Boys, Ride Along, Agent Carter, Supernatural). The soundtrack will be released digitally on December 20 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The label has previously released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score from the first season.
