Haut et Court has released a soundtrack album for the French thriller Only the Animals (Seules les bêtes). The album features the film’s original music is composed by Benedikt Schiefer (Invisible Life, Unter dir die Stadt, I Am Guilty). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Only the Animals is directed by Dominik Moll and stars Laure Calamy, Denis Ménochet, Damien Bonnard, Valeria Bruni Tedeschi, Nadia Tereszkiewicz and Guy Roger “Bibisse” N’drin. Premiering tonight is the Showtime original series The L Word: Generation Q created by Ilene Chaiken & Marja-Lewis Ryan and starring Jennifer Beals, Kate Moennig, Leisha Hailey, Arienne Mandi, Leo Sheng, Jacqueline Toboni, Rosanny Zayas and Sepideh Moafi. The show’s original score is composed by Heather McIntosh (ComplianceZ for Zachariah) & Allyson Newman (Making Waves: The Art of Cinematic SoundKusama: Infinity). Also premiering tonight is the Showtime original series Work in Progress created by Abby McEnany & Tim Mason and starring McEnany herself, alongside Theo Germaine, Karin Anglin, Celeste Pechous, Julia Sweeney and Alison Gates. Ethan Stoller is composing the show’s original music. The comedy centers on a middle-aged lesbian who gives herself 180 days to fix her life. Alex Belcher (21 Bridges, IO, ) is scoring upcoming British/Italian comedy Made in Italy. The film marks the feature directorial debut of actor James D’Arcy and stars Liam Neeson, Micheál Richardson, Valeria Billello and Lindsay Duncan. The movie is set in Tuscany and centers on a bohemian London artist who returns to Italy with his estranged son to make a quick sale of the house they inherited from his late wife. Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ original series Truth Be Told. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by John Paesano (DaredevilThe Maze RunnerThe Defenders, The Star, Almost Christmas). The soundtrack is now available to stream on Apple Music and is expected to be available in other digital music stores next year. Truth Be Told is created by Nichelle Tramble Spellman and stars Octavia Spencer, Aaron Paul, Lizzy Caplan, Elizabeth Perkins, Michael Beach, Mekhi Phifer, Tracie Thoms, Haneefah Wood and Ron Cephas Jones. Back Lot Music will release the official soundtrack album for the horror thriller Black Christmas. The album features the film’s original music composed by Will Blair & Brooke Blair (Green Room, Hold the Dark, The Informer, I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore, Blue Ruin). The soundtrack will be released digitally on December 13 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Black Christmas is co-written and directed by Sophia Takal and stars Imogen Poots, Aleyse Shannon, Lily Donoghue, Brittany O’Grady, Caleb Eberhardt, Simon Mead and Carl Elwes.
