Two new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this week:
Opening in most theaters is the thriller The Rhythm Section directed by Reed Morano and starring Blake Lively, Jude Law and Sterling K. Brown. The film’s original score is composed by Steve Mazzaro (The Boss Baby, Bullet to the Head, Ice Box) and produced by Hans Zimmer (The Dark Knight, The Lion King, Inception). Lisa Gerrard (Gladiator, Whale Rider) provided additional music. No soundtrack album has been released. Check out our previous article to learn more about the Paramount Pictures release.
Also opening wide is the fantasy horror movie Gretel & Hansel directed by Osgood Perkins and stars Sophia Lillis, Sammy Leakey, Charles Babalola, Alice Krige and Jessica De Gouw. Rob (Maniac, Revenge, Horns, Troy: Fall of a City, Planetarium) has composed the film’s original music. Waxwork Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score.
