Ryuichi Sakamoto (The Revenant, The Last Emperor, The Sheltering Sky, Snake Eyes) has been tapped to score the upcoming Chinese drama Love After Love. The film is directed by Ann Hui (A Simple Life, Our Time Will Come, The Golden Era) and stars Eddie Peng and Ma Sichun. The movie is based on Eileen Chang’s short story Aloeswood Incense and tells the story of a young woman from Shanghai who travels to Hong Kong, borrows money, and falls in with a rich crowd whose luxury lifestyle is beyond her means. Michael Giacchino has signed on to score the upcoming sci-fi action adventure Jurassic World: Dominion. The film is directed by Colin Trevorrow and stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, Daniella Pineda, Justice Smith, BD Wong and Isabella Sermon and BD Wong who are reprising their roles from the previous Jurassic World and Jurassic Park films. They are joined by new cast members Mamoudou Athie, Dichen Lachman, DeWanda Wise and Scott Haze. No plot details have been announced yet. Vance and follows a Yale law student who drawn back to his hometown grapples with family history, Appalachian values and the American dream.
