Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the biographical musical drama Michael directed by Antoine Fuqua and starring Jaafar Jackson, Nia Long, Miles Teller, Laura Harrier, Juliano Krue Valdi and Colman Domingo. Harvey Mason, Jr. serves as the project’s executive music producer. John Warhurst is the music supervisor and Lior Rosner has provided the underscore cues. Click here for the full music team credits. Columbia Records has released a soundtrack album featuring thirteen Michael Jackson songs today. Check out our previous article for the full album details and to learn more about the movie, which is being released by Lionsgate.

Also opening wide is the comedy thriller Over Your Dead Body directed by Jorma Taccone and starring Samara Weaving, Jason Segel, Timothy Olyphant, Keith Jardine, Paul Guilfoyle and Juliette Lewis. The film’s original score is composed by Matthew Compton (Palm Springs, MacGruber, Into the Deep, Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, The Last Stop in Yuma County, Better Start Running). Amantes del Futuro’s ‘Techno Syndrome (Mortal Kumbia Version)’ from ‘Mortal Kombat II’ Released

WaterTower Music has released the second track from the soundtrack for the action fantasy adventure Mortal Kombat II. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is Techno Syndrome (Mortal Kumbia Version), a new version of the Olivier Adams-composed theme song from the 90s game by Mexico City-based artist Amantes del Futuro. Ed Boon) earlier this month and will release a full soundtrack featuring Benjamin Wallfisch’s original score from the film next month. Mercury Studios has released a soundtrack EP for the documentary Just Sing. The 3-track EP features covers of Bob Dylan’s The Times They Are A-Changin’, Beyoncé’s Cuff It and Rosalía’s A Ningún Hombre/di Mi Nombre performed by the a cappella group SoCal VoCals . Darkroom & Interscope Records will release the companion “soundtrack” album for the concert documentary Billie Eilish: Hit Me Hard and Soft – The Tour. The album features the songs from the film by the Grammy Award- and Academy Award-winning singer/songwriter, recorded during her sold-out world tour. The soundtrack will be released on 100% recycled triple vinyl as a one-time-only pressing, uniquely colored with a lenticular insert, next Friday, May 1 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A digital version is expected to be available on the same day. A first track (Intro) is already available to stream/download now (check out the official visualizer video after the jump). The track written by the show’s composer Max Aruj (Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, The Ice Road, Crawl, Lansky, Mech Cadets, Screamer, iBoy, The Tank) is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon.
