Milan Records will release a second soundtrack album for the HBO/Sky limited series The Third Day. The album features the original music from the final part/last three episodes of the show, entitled Winter, composed by Dickon Hinchliffe (Winter’s Bone, Out of the Furnace, Locke, Last Chance Harvey, Leave No Trace, Peaky Blinders). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 9 and will be available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio clips. The label has previously released a soundtrack featuring Cristobal Tapia de Veer’s score from the drama’s first three episodes. The Third Day is created by Dennis Kelly & Felix Barrett and stars Naomie Harris, Jude Law, Katherine Waterston, Emily Watson and Paddy Considine. Polydor Records has released the original song Hear My Voice from Aaron Sorkin’s The Trial of the Chicago 7. The track is written by the film’s composer Daniel Pemberton and performed by Celeste who also co-wrote the lyrics with Pemberton. The song is now available as a digital single on Amazon and other digital music services and will also be included on the movie’s official soundtrack album, which is set to be released on October 16. Tom DeLonge, former frontman of the punk rock band Blink-182, is set to compose the music for his feature directorial debut Monsters of California. The coming-of-age sci-fi adventure stars Richard Kind, Casper Van Dien, Arianne Zucker, Gabrielle Haugh, Camille Kostek, Jack Samson, Jared Scott and Jack Lancaster. The movie follows a teenager and his derelict friends on a quest for the meaning behind a series of mysterious, paranormal events in Southern California.
