The album features selections of the original music from the show composed by Rune Tonsgaard Sørensen (Before the Frost). Nathan Matthew David (The Last Word, Slice, Deadly Class, Angie Tribeca, Surviving R. Kelly, Satisfaction) is composing the original score for the new NBC comedy Young Rock. The show is created by Dwayne Johnson & Nahnatchka Khan (Fresh Off the Boat, Always Be My Maybe) and stars Johnson himself, Joseph Lee Anderson, Stacey Leilua, Adrian Groulx, Uli Latukefu, Bradley Constant, Ana Tuisila, Fasitua Amosa and John Tui. The series focuses on different chapters of Johnson’s life, from growing up in a strong and resilient family, to being surrounded by the wild characters of his professional wrestling family and to playing football at the University of Miami. Opening in theaters nationwide today and also premiering on HBO Max is the drama Judas and the Black Messiah directed by Shaka King and starring Daniel Kaluuya, LaKeith Stanfield, Dominique Fishback, Ashton Sanders, Jesse Plemons and Martin Sheen. The film’s original score is composed by Mark Isham (CrashOnce Upon a TimeMiracle, A River Runs Through It) & Craig Harris. The album features the film’s original music written by British composer Daniel Blumberg who made his feature film coring debut on the project. Also included is the original title song written and performed by Blumberg & Josephine Foster. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other digital music stores. Couple 3 Films has released a soundtrack album for the sci-fi comedy drama Lapsis. The album features the film’s original music composed by director Noah Hutton (Crude Independence, Deep Time). Nonesuch Records has released the original song Green from the drama Sound of Metal. The track, which has just been shortlisted in the Original Song category for this year’s Academy Awards earlier this week, is written performed by Abraham Marder, produced by Thomas Bartlett and is the closing theme for the film.
