Premiering tonight is the PBS docu-series The Vietnam War directed by Ken Burns & Lynn Novick. Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Gone Girl, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) and David Cieri have composed the show’s original score. Universal Music have released two soundtrack albums, including an album featuring Reznor’s & Ross’ score, as well as a separate album featuring the songs from the series by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Simon & Garfunkel & more. Premiering in the U.S. tomorrow is the British mini-series The State written and directed by Peter Kosminsky and starring Sam Otto, Ryan McKen, Shavani Cameron, Ony Uhiara and Nana Agyeman-Bediako. The 4-parter’s original music is composed by Debbie Wiseman (Wolf Hall, Father Brown, Vampire Killers). The show centers on the lives of four British citizens who join ISIS in Syria. Madison Gate Records will release a score album for the NBC drama The Blacklist. The album features selections from the show’s original music composed by Dave Porter (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Preacher, The Disaster Artist). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, September 22, and is now available for pre-order on 
Sony Classical will release a score album for the MTV original series Teen Wolf. The album features selections from the show’s original music composed by Dino Meneghin (Eye Candy, Killing Gunther). Mark Isham has composed the music for the upcoming Black Mirror episode Arkangel. The episode is directed by Jodie Foster and stars Rosemarie Dewitt, Brenna Harding and Owen Teague. No plot details have been announced. The show’s creator Charlie Brooker wrote the script. Isham has previously collaborated with Foster on her directorial efforts, Home for the Holidays and Little Man Tate. 
See-Saw Films has released a soundtrack album for the limited series Top of the Lake: China Girl. The album features selections from the show’s original music composed by Mark Bradshaw (Bright Star, Resistance, The Daughter) who previously scored the 
Atli Orvarsson is scoring the new NBC mini-series Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders. The show is created by Rene Balce and stars Edie Falco, Gus Halper, Heather Graham, Josh Charles and Miles Gaston Villanueva. The 8-parter centers on the trial of Lyle and Erik Menendez who were convicted in 1996 for the murder of their parents. Dick Wolf is executive producing the Universal Television and Wolf Films production with Peter Jankowski, Arthur W. Forney and Lesli Linka Glatter (Homeland) who also directed two episodes. 
John Frizzell is reteaming with Mike Judge on the new Cinemax original series Mike Judge Presents: Tales from the Tour Bus. The animated series is created Judge (Silicon Valley, King of the Hill), Richard Mullins & Dub Cornett and recounts the raucous adventures of country music’s most legendary artists, including Johnny Paycheck, Jerry Lee Lewis, George Jones and Tammy Wynette, Billy Joe Shaver, Waylon Jennings and Blaze Foley, as told by those who knew them best. Judge & Cornett are also executive producing the project with Glen Zipper (Undefeated) and Sean Stuart (All Things Must Pass: The Rise and Fall of Tower Records). 
Classical violinist Pekka Kuusisto and percussionist Samuli Kosminen are set to compose the music for the upcoming animated series Moominvalley. The show based on Scandinavian’s children’s books The Moomins is produced by the Finnish production company Gutsy Animations and will feature the voices of Rosamund Pike, Taron Egerton, Kate Winslet, Warwick Davis, Matt Berry, Richard Ayoade, Will Self and Akiya Henry. Steve Box (The Curse of the Were-Rabbit) is directing the series. Mark Huckerby & Nick Ostler (Howl, Don’t Knock Twice) serve as writers and John Woolley (Shaun the Sheep) is producing the project. 
Premiering tonight is the new Fox comedy drama The Orville created by Seth MacFarlane and starring himself, alongside Adrianne Palicki, Mark Jackson, Scott Grimes, Peter Macon, J Lee, Halston Sage and Penny Johnson. Bruce Broughton (Silverado) has composed the show’s theme and score for the first episode and John Debney (The Passion of the Christ) and Joel McNeely (A Million Ways to Die in the West) are scoring the following episodes. Also premiering tonight is the HBO original series The Deuce created by David Simon & George Pelecanos and starring James Franco, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Gary Carr, Margarita Levieva, Lawrence Gilliard Jr., Dominique Fishback, Emily Meade, Gbenga Akinnagbe, Chris Bauer, Chris Coy, Natalie Paul and Michael Rispoli. The show doesn’t feature an original score. Blake Leyh serves as the project’s music supervisor. The Deuce tells the story of the legalization and subsequent rise of the porn industry in New York’s Times Square from the early 70s through the mid 80s. The drama will air Sunday nights on HBO. Reel Gold Records will release the original song Just Getting Started from the HBO documentary If You’re Not in the Obit, Eat Breakfast. The track is written by Academy Award winners Alan & Marilyn Bergman (Yentl, The Way We Were) and Dave Grusin (The Milagro Beanfield War, The Firm, On Golden Pond) and performed by Alan Bergman with Grusin & Band.
