Hippocampus has released a new soundtrack album for the French TV series The Bureau (Le Bureau des Légendes). The album features selections of the original music from the show’s fourth season composed by Rob (aka Robin Coudert) (Maniac, Horns, Troy: Fall of a City, Revenge, Planetarium). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples and check out the track list. The composer’s score from the first three seasons has previously been released on two digital albums and a CD version from Music Box Records. The Bureau is created by Eric Rochant and stars Mathieu Kassovitz, Jean-Pierre Darroussin, Lea Drucker, Sara Giraudeau and Florence Loiret Caille.

Samuel Sim & Chris Egan Scoring Starz’s ‘The Spanish Princess’
Samuel Sim and Chris Egan are currently scoring the upcoming Starz limited series The Spanish Princess. The show is based on Philippa Gregory’s best-selling novels, The Constant Princess and The King’s Curse and marks the third installment in the fantasy series following the mini-series The White Queen and The White Princess. Charlotte Hope stars in title role as Catherine of Aragon, alongside Nadia Parkes, Aaron Cobham, Alan McKenna, Richard Pepper, Olly Rix, Jordan Renzo, Daniel Cerqueira and Alicia Borrachero.
Soundtrack Album for Amazon’s ‘Beat’ Released
Great Escape Records has released a soundtrack album for the German Amazon original series Beat. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Ben Lukas Boysen (aka Hecq) (Manifesto). Also included are tracks by Van Der Meer, Matthew Dear, Efdemin, Dina Washington, dotwav & others. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. Beat is directed by Marco Kreuzpaintner (Summer Storm) and stars Jannis Niewöhner, Karoline Herfurth, Christian Berkel, Alexander Fehling and Kostja Ullmann. The crime drama follows a drug-using, sex-addicted young club promoter whose far-reaching connections in Berlin’s seedy club scene become of interest to police investigators trying to bring down a human-organ trafficking ring.

Premiering tonight in the U.S. is the British mini-series The Woman in White developed by Fiona Seres based on Wilkie Collins’ novel, directed by Carl Tibbetts and starring Ben Hardy, Jessie Buckley, Olivia Vinall, Dougray Scott, Riccardo Scamarcio and Charles Dance. The 5-parter’s original music is composed by Jon Opstad (Black Mirror, Silent Witness, Safe House). Premiering on Wednesday, October 24 in the U.S. is the British TV series Bodyguard created by Jed Mercurio and starring Richard Madden, Keeley Hawes, Gina McKee, Sophie Rundle, Vincent Franklin and Rowena King. Ruth Barrett (Victoria, Harry Brown, Collateral, Toast, Hunted) has composed the show’s original music. Soundtrack Album for ITV/Amazon Series ‘Vanity Fair’ Released
Decca Records has released a soundtrack album for the ITV and Amazon mini-series Vanity Fair. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Isobel Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, The Split, Vita and Virginia). Also included is the drama’s title song All Along The Watchtower by Afterhere, as well as tracks by Jade Bird, Paloma Faith, Agnes Abel and Laura Mvula. Mercury Classics has released a soundtrack album for the ITV series Strangers. The album features selections of original music from the show’s first season composed by Raffertie. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Strangers is created by Mark Denton & Jonny Stockwood and stars John Simm, Anthony Wong, Emilia Fox, Katie Leung, Tom Wu, Anthony Hayes and Dervla Kirwan. The drama follows a professor whose world comes crashing down when his wife is killed in a car crash in Hong Kong.
‘Daredevil’ Season 3 Soundtrack to Be Released
Hollywood Records and Marvel Music will release a new soundtrack album for Marvel’s Netflix original series Daredevil. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s third season composed by John Paesano (The Maze Runner, The Defenders, Spider-Man video game, Dragons: Riders of Berk, The Star). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 19 and will be available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. The labels have previously released soundtrack album featuring Paesano’s score from the first two seasons. Daredevil is based on the Marvel Comics character and stars Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Vincent D’Onofrio, Elden Henson, Joanne Whalley, Wilson Bethel and Jay Ali.
Johnny Klimek & Gabriel Mounsey Scoring Netflix’s ‘Messiah’
Johnny Klimek (Run Lola Run, One Hour Photo, Cloud Atlas, Deadwood) and Gabriel Mounsey are scoring the upcoming Netflix original series Messiah. The show is created by Michael Petroni (The Book Thief, The Rite, Queen of the Damned) and stars Michelle Monaghan, John Ortiz, Tomer Sisley, Mehdi Dehbi, Melinda Page Hamilton, Stefania LaVie Owen, Jane Adams, Sayyid El Alami, Fares Landoulsi and Wil Traval. The 10-part drama chronicles the modern world’s reaction to al-Masih, a man who first appears in the Middle East, creating a groundswell of followers around him claiming he is the Messiah.
David Arnold & Michael Price to Score BBC’s & Netflix’s ‘Dracula’
David Arnold has revealed on Twitter that he is attached to co-score the upcoming BBC and Netflix mini-series Dracula with Michael Price. The show is written and created by Steven Moffat & Mark Gatiss and inspired by Bram Stoker’s classic novel. No casting announcements have been made yet. The 3-parter is set in Transylvania in 1897 and follows the the title character as he is drawing his plans against Victorian London. Moffat (Doctor Who, The Adventures of Tintin) & Gatiss are also executive producing the project with Sue Vertue for Hartswood Films, Ben Irving for BBC and Larry Tanz (Castlevania, Watership Down) for Netflix.
‘Heathers’ TV Series Score Album Announced
Lakeshore Records will release a score album for the Paramount Network original series Heathers. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Chris Alan Lee (Younger, Mortal Kombat: Legacy, Mulaney). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, October 19 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Two tracks from the album, Viral Casualty and In the Clear for Now, are already available to download. As previously reported, the label will also release a separate soundtrack featuring a selection of songs from the series. Heathers is developed by Jason Micallef based on the 1988 feature of the same name and stars Grace Victoria Cox, James Scully, Melanie Field, Brendan Scannell and Jasmine Mathews.
