Karen O has recorded an original song for the upcoming Amazon original series Hanna. The track, entitled Anti-Lullaby, is written and performed by the singer/songwriter and is also featured in the show’s new teaser trailer, which is embedded after the jump. The song is now available to download on Amazon. Karen O has previously written original songs for Spike Jonze’s Where the Wild Things Are and Her, for which she received an Academy Award nomination. Hanna is developed by David Farr based Joe Wright’s 2011 feature of the same title (which Farr co-wrote) and stars Mireille Enos, Joel Kinnaman and Esme Creed-Miles.

Soundtrack Album for BBC/Amazon’s ‘Informer’ Announced
Silva Screen Records has announced a soundtrack album for the British series Informer. The album features the show’s original music written by Ilan Eshkeri (Layer Cake, Stardust, Still Alice, 47 Ronin, The Young Victoria) who composed his score as five stand-alone pieces of music. The score, which features vocals by Daisy Chute, former member of the classical cross over vocal quartet All Angels and is performed by Sinfonia Nord & conducted by Atli Örvarsson, is made up from variations of these pieces of music. The soundtrack, which is presented with each complete piece and its variations, will be released digitally on January 18 and will be available to download here.

Premiering on Tuesday, January 8, is the History original series Project Blue Book created by David O’Leary, executive produced by Robert Zemeckis and starring Aidan Gillen, Laura Mennell, Michael Harney, Ksenia Solo and Michael Malarkey. The show’s original music is composed by Daniel Wohl (Search Party, They’ll Love Me When I’m Dead). The drama is based on the true, top-secret investigations into Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) and related phenomena conducted by the United States Air Force from 1952 to 1969. ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ Season 1 Soundtrack EP Released
WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack EP for the Netflix original series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. The EP features four songs from the show’s first season performed by cast members Kiernan Shipka, Tati Gabrielle, Adeline Rudolph, Abigail Cowen, Miranda Otto, Jai Sinclair and Gavin Leatherwood. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is developed by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa based on his comic book series and also stars Ross Lynch, Lucy Davis, Chance Perdomo, Michelle Gomez, Richard Coyle and Bronson Pinchot.
Michael Brook Scoring Freeform’s ‘Good Trouble’
Michael Brook (Brooklyn, The Fighter, Into the Wild, The Perks of Being a Wallflower) is the composer of the new Freeform original series Good Trouble. The show is created by Joanna Johnson, Bradley Bredeweg & Peter Paige and stars Maia Mitchell, Cierra Ramirez, Tommy Martinez, Zuri Adele, Sherry Cola and Roger Bart. The drama is a spin-off of The Fosters, which aired between 2013 and 2018, and follows sisters Callie and Mariana as they move to Los Angeles and begin their lives as young adults.
Roger Eno Scoring SundanceTV’s ‘State of the Union’
Roger Eno is composing the music for the upcoming SundanceTV original series State of the Union. The show is created by Nick Hornby (About a Boy, High Fidelity, Brooklyn), directed by Stephen Frears (Dangerous Liaisons, The Queen, Philomena) and stars Rosamund Pike and Chris O’Dowd. The comedy follows a couple who meet at a pub immediately before their weekly marital therapy session. Each episode pieces together how their lives were, what drew them together, and what has started to pull them apart.
NBC’s ‘The Village’ to Feature Music by WAZ-Jackson
The composing duo of WAZ-Jackson (Cougar Town, Surviving Jack, Life Sentence) is composing the original score for the upcoming NBC drama The Village. The show is created by Mike Daniels (Shades of Blue, Sons of Anarchy) and stars Moran Atias, Dominic Chianese, Warren Christie, Frankie Faison, Jerod Haynes, Daren Kagasoff, Michaela McManus, Lorraine Toussaint and Grace Van Dien. The series follows the residents of a Manhattan apartment building. Daniels is also executive producing the Universal Television production with Jessica Rhoades (The Affair, Sharp Objects) and Minkie Spiro.
Volker Bertelmann (Hauschka) to Score ‘The Name of the Rose’ TV Series and BBC/Starz’s ‘The Dublin Murders’
Volker Bertelmann (aka Hauschka) (Lion, Adrift, Patrick Melrose, Gunpowder) has signed on to score the upcoming limited series The Name of the Rose. The 8-parter stars John Turturro, Michael Emerson, Rupert Everett, Damian Hardung, Sebastian Koch, James Cosmo, Richard Sammel, Fabrizio Bentivoglio and Greta Scarano. The drama based on Umberto Eco’s novel (which has previously been adapted into a movie version scored by James Horner) is set in Italy in 1327 and follows a Franciscan monk and his novice as they arrive at a secluded monastery in the Alps, where they become witnesses to a series of mysterious murders.

Brian Reitzell has composed the original music for the new Black Mirror episode Bandersnatch. The episode directed by David Slade (Hard Candy, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse) and starring Fionn Whitehead, Will Poulter and Asim Chaudhry is set in 1984 and follows a young programmer who begins to question reality as he adapts a sprawling fantasy novel into a video game and soon faces a mind-mangling challenge. Series creator Charlie Brooker has written the script and is also executive producing the special interactive episode with Annabel Jones.
