Roger Eno is composing the music for the upcoming SundanceTV original series State of the Union. The show is created by Nick Hornby (About a Boy, High Fidelity, Brooklyn), directed by Stephen Frears (Dangerous Liaisons, The Queen, Philomena) and stars Rosamund Pike and Chris O’Dowd. The comedy follows a couple who meet at a pub immediately before their weekly marital therapy session. Each episode pieces together how their lives were, what drew them together, and what has started to pull them apart. Hornby & Frears are also executive producing the project with Hakan Kousetta & Jamie Laurenson (Top of the Lake), and Iain Canning & Emile Sherman (Lion, Widows). Eno has previously composed the music for the 1989 feature Warm Summer Rain and also co-scored the Danny Boyle-directed 1993 mini-series Mr. Wroe’s Virgins with his brother Brian Eno.  He also contributed music to numerous other projects, including Boyle’s Trainspotting, Dario Argento’s Opera and David Lynch’s DuneState of the Union will premiere on SundanceTV and Sundance Now later this year.
