The details of the full soundtrack album for the HBO limited series Chernobyl have been revealed. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Hildur Gudnadottir (Joker, Sicario: Day of the Soldado, Mary Magdalene, Strong Island). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 31 by Deutsche Grammophon and will be available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. The label has previously released the composer’s main theme as a digital single earlier this month. Chernobyl is written and executive produced by Craig Mazin, directed by Johan Renck and stars Jared Harris, Stellan Skarsgård and Emily Watson.

Jimmy LaValle (aka The Album Leaf) has composed the original music for the upcoming comedy The F**k-It List. The film is directed by Michael Duggan (Earth 2) and stars Eli Brown, Peter Facinelli, Madison Iseman, Jerry O’Connell, Camryn Manheim, Marcus Scribner, Karan Brar, Tristan Lake Leabu, Andrew “King Bach” Bachelor, Natalie Zea and Laura Bell Bundy. The movie centers on an exemplary high school senior who launches the F*ck-It List – all the things he wishes he’d done in high school but was too busy or afraid to try.
Jeff Russo Scoring NBC’s ‘The InBetween’
Jeff Russo is the composer of the new NBC drama The InBetween. The show is created by Moira Kirland (Castle, Madam Secretary) and stars Harriet Dyer, Justin Cornwell, Anne-Marie Johnson, Cindy Luna, Chad James Buchanan and Paul Blackthorne. The drama revolves around a woman who communicates with the dead and helps to solve murder cases. Kirland is also executive producing the Universal Television, NBCU International Television Studio and Heyday Television production with David Heyman (Harry Potter series, Gravity, Paddington), Nancy Cotton, Matthew Gross (Across the Universe, Body of Proof), as well as Charlotte Sieling (The Man) who also directed the pilot episode.
Soundtrack Album for Amazon’s ‘Good Omens’ Announced
Silva Screen Records has announced a soundtrack album for the Amazon original series Good Omens. The album features the show’s original music composed by Grammy Award and Emmy Award winner David Arnold (Independence Day, Casino Royale, Stargate, Sherlock, Tomorrow Never Dies, Shaft, The World Is Not Enough). Also included is Tori Amos’ version of A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square, the closing song of the series. Gwendolyn Sanford, Brandon Jay & Daniel Brummel are scoring the new Lifetime original series American Princess. The show is created by Jamie Denbo and stars Georgia Flood, Lucas Neff, Seana Kofoed, Mary Hollis Inboden and Rory O’Malley. The comedy revolves around a runaway bride as she joins a Renaissance Faire after her wedding goes awry, only to discover there’s a lot more to life than she once thought. Denbo is also executive producing the A+E Studios production with Jenji Kohan & Tara Herrmann (GLOW) and Mark A. Burley.

Johnny Klimek (Cloud Atlas, Sense8, Run Lola Run, One Hour Photo) & Hans Hafner are the composers of the upcoming Cinemax original series Jett. The show is created by Sebastian Guttierez (Gothika, Elizabeth Harvest) and stars Carla Gugino, Giancarlo Esposito, Elena Anaya, Michael Aronov, Gaite Jansen, Chris Backus, Gil Bellows, Jodie Turner-Smith, Gentry White, Violet McGraw, Lucy Walters and Mustafa Shakir. The drama centers on a world-class thief who is released from prison and is forced back into doing what she does best.
Harry Escott Scoring ITV’s ‘Wild Bill’
Harry Escott (Shame, Hard Candy, A Mighty Heart, The Wedding Guest) is scoring the new ITV original series Wild Bill. The show is created by David Griffiths (The Hunted), Kyle Killen (The Beaver) and Dudi Appleton & Jim Keeble (Silent Witness) and stars Rob Lowe, Rachael Stirling, Angela Griffin, Tony Pitts and Bronwyn James. The crime drama centers on a high-flying US cop who is appointed Chief Constable of the East Lincolnshire Police Force.

The full details of the soundtrack album for Nicolas Winding Refn’s Amazon original series Too Old to Die Young have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Cliff Martinez (Traffic, Solaris, Sex, Lies & Videotapes, Contagion, Game Night) who previously scored Winding Refn’s features Drive, Only God Forgives and The Neon Demon. Also included are songs by Goldfrapp, The Leather Nun, Frankie Miller & others. The soundtrack will be released on June 14 by Milan Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon (CD version).
