Mark Isham (Crash, A River Runs Through It, Judas and the Black Messiah, Once Upon a Time, Miracle, The Accountant) & Isabella Summers (aka Isa Machine of Florence + the Machines) are reuniting to co-score the upcoming Netflix original series Sex/Life. The show is developed by Stacy Rukeyser (UnReal) based on BB Easton’s book of the same title and stars Sarah Shahi, Mike Vogel, Adam Demos and Margaret Odette. The dramedy follows a suburban mother of two as she takes a fantasy-charged trip down memory lane that sets her very married present on a collision course with her wild-child past.

Amazon’s ‘Them’ to Feature Music by Mark Korven
Mark Korven (The Witch, The Lighthouse, Cube, In the Tall Grass, The Terror: Infamy, Our House) is the composer of the upcoming Amazon original anthology series Them. The show is created by Little Marvin and stars Deborah Ayorinde, Ashley Thomas, Alison Pill, Melody Hurd, Shahadi Wright Joseph and Ryan Kwanten. The first season is set in the 1950s and centers around a Black family who move from North Carolina to an all-white Los Angeles neighborhood during the period known as The Great Migration, when their idyllic home becomes ground zero where malevolent forces threaten to taunt, ravage and destroy them.
John Debney Scoring Disney+’s ‘The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers’
John Debney (The Passion of the Christ, Iron Man 2, The Jungle Book, Elf, Hocus Pocus, The Emperor’s New Groove) is scoring the new Disney+ original series The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers. The show is based on the 1992 The Mighty Ducks feature film (scored by David Newman) and stars Lauren Graham, Emilio Estevez, Brady Noon, Maxwell Simkins, Swayam Bhatia, Luke Islam, Kiefer O’Reilly, Taegen Burns, Bella Higginbotham and DJ Watts. The drama is set in present day Minnesota and follows a 12-year old boy who failed to make the cut to join the Mighty Ducks junior hockey team and is encouraged by his mother to form a new team of underdogs with help from Gordon Bombay, the Ducks’ original coach.
‘The Time Tunnel’ Soundtrack Collection Announced
La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 60s sci-fi series The Time Tunnel created by Irwin Allen and starring James Darren, Robert Colbert, Whit Bissell, John Zaremba and Lee Meriwether. The first volume in The Time Tunnel soundtrack collection features the original music from several episodes of the show composed by John Williams (as Johnny Williams) (Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jaws, Jurassic Park), Lyn Murray (To Catch a Thief, Gunsmoke), Paul Sawtell (Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Jack the Giant Killer) and Robert Drasnin (Mission: Impossible, Lost in Space). The 3-CD set, which is limited to 1,000 copies, is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out the full album details and listen to audio samples.
Neil Davidge Scoring National Geographic’s ‘Earth Moods’
Neil Davidge (Unleashed, Push, Halo 4, Monsters: Dark Continent, Britannia, Hard Sun, Good People) has composed the original music for National Geographic’s upcoming short-form visual series Earth Moods. The show is produced and edited by Ryan Fouss and takes viewers on the ultimate retreat – transporting them to a vast array of colorful and calming corners of the world. Over five episodes, viewers travel to blue glaciers, arid deserts, lush rainforests and pulsating metropolises to escape from the cacophony of everyday life.
‘Ku’damm 63’ Soundtrack to Be Released
Bavaria Sonor Records will release a soundtrack album for the German mini-series Ku’damm 63. The album features the show’s original music composed by Karim Sebastian Elias (Treasure Island, Saudi Runaway, Of Fathers and Sons, Siegfried) and performed by the Brandenburgisches Staatsorchester . The soundtrack will be released digitally this coming Friday, March 19 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Ku’damm 63 created by Annette Hess is the followup to 2016’s Ku’damm 56 and 2018’s Ku’damm 59 and tells the story of Germany’s halting evolution toward larger justice and liberty told through the loves, hard-won freedoms and suffering of three sisters.
Marcelo Zarvos Scoring Antoine Fuqua’s HBO Documentary ‘The Day Sports Stood Still’
Marcelo Zarvos (Fences, The Affair, Wonder, Ray Donovan, The Good Shepherd, Enough Said, The Loudest Voice) has recently scored the new HBO Sports documentary The Day Sports Stood Still. The film is directed by Antoine Fuqua (Training Day, The Equalizer) and tells the story of the unprecedented sports shutdown in March of 2020 and the remarkable turn of events that followed. The movie chronicles the abrupt stoppage, athletes’ prominent role in the cultural reckoning on racial injustices that escalated during the pandemic, and the complex return to competition in the summer and fall.
Christopher Willis Scoring Apple TV+’s ‘Schmigadoon!’
Christopher Willis (The Death of Stalin, The Personal History of David Copperfield, Veep, The Lion Guard) is composing the underscore for the upcoming Apple TV+ original series Schmigadoon! The musical comedy is co-created by Cinco Paul & Ken Daurio (Despicable Me, The Secret Life of Pets) and stars Cecily Strong, Keegan-Michael Key, Alan Cumming, Kristin Chenoweth, Dove Cameron, Aaron Tveit, Ariana DeBose, Jaime Camil, Fred Armisen, Jane Krakowski and Ann Harada. The show follows a couple on a backpacking trip designed to reinvigorate their relationship when they discover a magical town in which everyone is living in a studio musical from the 1940s.

Premiering in the U.S. tomorrow, March 15, is the British mini-series Bloodlands created by Chris Brandon, directed by Pete Travis and starring James Nesbitt, Lisa Dwan, Charlene McKenna, Lorcan Cranitch, Ian McElhinney, Lola Petticrew and Chris Walley. The show’s original music is composed by Ruth Barrett (Bodyguard, Collateral, Victoria, Harry Brown, Sanditon). Zloty Music has released a soundtrack album for the Israeli vampire series Juda. The album features selections of the original score and songs from the show’s first two seasons composed by Ariel Blumenthal (Sky Raiders, Funeral Day), as well as additional tracks by Moana A, Kajmir Royale and Daniel Jakubovic.
