Composer Jed Kurzel (Alien: Covenant, The Babadook, Overlord, The Mustang, Son of a Gun) is reuniting with director Justin Kurzel on the upcoming Australian drama Nitram. The film starring Caleb Landry Jones, Judy Davis, Essie Davis and Anthony LaPaglia and centers on the events leading up to the the 1996 Port Arthur massacre in Tasmania. Shaun Grant (Penguin Bloom, Berlin Syndrome) wrote the screenplay. GoodThing Productions’ Nick Batzias & Virginia Whitwell (2040, The Australian Dream) are producing the project.

Details for ‘The ‘Bob’s Burgers Music Album’ Vol. 2 Revealed
The full details of the second soundtrack album for the Fox animated comedy Bob’s Burgers have been revealed. The album features more songs from the show performed by cast members H. Jon Benjamin, John Roberts, Dan Mintz, Eugene Mirman, Kristen Schaal and recurring and special guests including Ken Marino, Jenny Slate, Max Greenfield, Daveed Diggs & others. The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically (on vinyl and CD) on August 20 by Sub Pop Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (Sexy Little Tiger) is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out after the jump. The label has previously released the first album back in 2017 and has also released several EPs over the last year.

Premiering in the U.S. today is the historical drama series Domina created by Simon Burke and starring Kasia Smutniak, Liam Cunningham, Colette Tchantcho, Claire Forlani, Christine Bottomley, Nadia Parkes, Ben Batt, Matthew McNulty and Isabella Rossellini. The show’s original music is composed by Samuel Sim (The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, The Halcyon, The Spanish Princess, Home Fires). Dubois Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last month when the drama premiered in the UK on Sky Atlantic. Check out our previous article for the full album details. The series is making its U.S. debut on Epix.
Also premiering in the U.S. tonight is the British series Little Birds created by Sophia Al-Maria based on short stories by Anais Nin and starring Juno Temple, Yumna Marwan, Hugh Skinner, Raphael Acloque, Nina Sosanya, Jean-Marc Barr, Amy Landecker and Matt Lauri. Anne Nikitin (American Animals, Mrs. Wilson, The Pale Horse, Lost Girls, Calibre, Untouchable, This Beautiful Fantastic) has composed the show’s original music. SATV has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last fall when the drama premiered in the UK on Sky Atlantic. Dubois Records has released a soundtrack album for the Showtime docu-series The Kings. The album features selections of the original music from the show composed by Rael Jones (Harlots, My Cousin Rachel, Suite Francaise, Kids in Love, The Salisbury Poisonings). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The Kings is directed by Mat Whitecross, executive produced by James Gay-Rees & Paul Martin and chronicles the the dramatic and divergent ascents to greatness of “Four Kings” – Roberto “Manos de Piedra” Durán, Marvelous Marvin Hagler, Thomas “The Hitman” Hearns & Sugar Ray Leonard – and the legendary matches they produced.
H.E.R.’s Original Song ‘Change’ from Netflix’s ‘We The People’ Released
MBK Entertainment and RCA Records have released the first song from the Netflix animated short-form series We the People. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music platforms (including Amazon) is the original song Change performed by H.E.R. (who received her first Academy Award earlier this year for the song Fight for You from Judas and the Black Messiah) from the episode Active Citizenship. ‘Battlestar Galactica’ Live Album ‘So Say We All’ Released
Sparks and Shadows has released a new album featuring music from the Syfy original series Battlestar Galactica. So Say We All (Battlestar Galactica Live) features thirteen tracks recorded at various live performances of music from the show composed by Bear McCreary (Godzilla: King of the Monsters, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Outlander, The Walking Dead, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Happy Death Day). The theme is written by the show’s composer Clark (aka Chris Clark) (The Last Panthers, National Treasure: Kiri, Daniel Isn’t Real, Rellik) and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. The details of the new soundtrack albums for the CW drama Supergirl have been revealed. The albums feature selections of the original music from the show’s fourth and fifth seasons composed by Blake Neely (Arrow, The Flash, The Flight Attendant, Riverdale, The Pacific, Greyhound) and Daniel James Chan (Legends of Tomorrow, Emergence). The soundtracks will be released digitally tomorrow, June 4, 2021 by WaterTower Music. Lifandi Records has released a soundtrack album for the Icelandic TV series The Valhalla Murders. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Petur Thor Benediktsson (End of Sentence, Fangar, Metalhead). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. The Valhalla Murders is created by Thordur Palsson and stars Nína Dögg Filippusdóttir, Björn Thors, Bergur Ebbi, Aldís Amah Hamilton, Sigurður Skúlason, Tinna Hrafnsdóttir, Arndís Hrönn Egilsdóttir and Damon Younger. The 8-part thriller revolves around an Oslo detective with a painful past who returns to his native Iceland to help a dedicated cop hunt a serial killer with a link to a mysterious photo.
