‘Home Before Dark’ Season 2 Soundtrack Album Released
Paramount Music has released a new soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ original series Home Before Dark. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Nathan Lanier (High Strung, Jem and the Holograms, Justin Bieber’s Believe, Max Steel, The LXD: The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download exclusively on Apple Music/iTunes, where you can also check out audio samples. The label has previously released an album featuring Lanier’s score from Season 1. Home Before Dark is created by Dana Fox & Dara Resnik and stars Brooklynn Prince, Jim Sturgess, Abby Miller, Kylie Rogers, Michael Weston, Aziza Scott, Joelle Carter, Jibrail Nantambu, Deric McCabe and Rio Mangini. The new season follows Hilde Lisko as she begins an investigation after a mysterious explosion hits a local farm that will lead her to fight a powerful and influential corporation.

First Track from Marvel’s ‘Loki’ Soundtrack Released
Marvel Music and Hollywood Records have released the first track from the soundtrack for Marvel Studios’ Disney+ series Loki. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music platforms (including Amazon) is the end titles cue TVA written by the show’s composer Natalie Holt (Journey’s End, Herself, Knightfall, Deadwater Fell, Press). A full soundtrack album, Loki: Chapter One (Episodes 1-3) is set to be released on July 2 and a second album, Loki: Chapter Two (Episodes 4-6) will be coming out on July 23. Soundtrack Album for HBO Max’s ‘The Runaway Bunny’ to Be Released
WaterTower Music will release a soundtrack album for the HBO Max animated special The Runaway Bunny. The album features the special’s original score composed by Keith Kenniff (aka Helios) (Blood Road, The Last Survivor). Also included are the songs from the projects, including the never-before released original Margaret Wise Brown lullaby Song of the Runaway Bunny performed by Tracee Ellis Ross, a new version of Bob Dylan’s Make You Feel My Love by Kelly Rowland, a new reinterpretation of Always Be My Baby by Mariah Carey, as well other songs performed by Ziggy Marley, Kimya Dawson and Rufus Wainwright. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 11 and will be available to stream/download here. The Runaway Bunny based on the children’s book by Margaret Wise Brown is produced & directed by Amy Schatz and follows a restless little bunny who dreams of leaving home.
Soundtrack Album for HBO’s ‘Allen v. Farrow’ to Be Released
Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the HBO docu-series Allen v. Farrow. The album features the show’s original music composed by Michael Abels (Get Out, Us, Bad Education, See You Yesterday, Fake Famous). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, June 11 and will be available to stream/download here. Allen v. Farrow is HBO docu-series Allen v. Farrow is directed by Kirby Dick & Amy Ziering and centers on the accusation of sexual abuse against Woody Allen involving Dylan, his then 7-year-old daughter with Mia Farrow; their subsequent custody trial, the revelation of Allen’s relationship with Farrow’s daughter, and the controversial aftermath in the years that followed.
‘Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy – Kingdom’ Soundtrack Album Details
Hasbro will release a new soundtrack album for the third part of the Netflix original anime series Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy. The album features selections of the original music from the third and final part of the trilogy (Kingdom) composed by Alexander Bornstein (First to the Moon, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Black Site Delta, Paradox, The Last Heist). The soundtrack will be released digitally on July 29 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon and Apple Music/iTunes. Hasbro has previously released two albums featuring the composer’s score from the first and second parts of the trilogy (Siege & Earthrise). Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy – Kingdom based on Hasbro’s toy franchise is produced by Rooster Teeth, Allspark Animation & Polygon Pictures and is set to premiere next month on Netflix.
Yoko Kanno to Score Netflix’s ‘Cowboy Bebop’ Live Action Series
Netflix has confirmed today that Yoko Kanno will be scoring Netflix’s upcoming live action adaptation of the anime series Cowboy Bebop. The show is developed by Andre Nemec (Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) & Jeff Pinkner (Alias, Fringe) based on Hajime Yatate’s anime series and stars John Cho, Mustafa Shakir, Daniella Pineda, Alex Hassell and Elena Satine. The sci-fi drama follows a ragtag crew of bounty hunters on the run from their pasts as they chase down the galaxy’s most dangerous criminals.
Patrick Stump’s Theme Song from Marvel’s ‘Spidey and His Amazing Friends’ Released
Walt Disney Records has released the theme song from the upcoming Disney Junior animated series Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends. The track is written, produced and performed by Patrick Stump, lead singer of the rock band Fall Out Boy, who also serves as songwriter and composer for the series.
